The third hull of Horizon’s FD102 model, UNTETHERED, has been delivered to her American owners in Florida.
The influence of the new Owner can be heavily felt on the highly customized 32.75m (107ft) superyacht, with a range of unique features. These include a lower deck gym and twin bed convertible workspace, a private wheelhouse forward and an enclosed skylounge aft on the bridge deck.
Other Owner inspired features include a large built-in firepit with an adjacent L-shaped settee on the foredeck aft and a dining area shaded by an electric awning. The remainder of the foredeck plays host to a large Jacuzzi, plenty of seating, a refrigerator, freezer, sink and hand-held shower.
UNTETHERED also features a four-stateroom layout, including an on-deck master stateroom with his-and-hers en-suite.
The Owner praised Horizon for its flexibility in the build process. “Considering I introduced and added 86 changes to the build, it is testament that Horizon can ‘walk the talk’ of a semi-custom builder. Whoever heard of a builder letting the customer send their own decking, stained ‘just so’, to a yard, or a builder willing to install new sophisticated machinery like a water-cooled Magnus frequency converter power system, or custom Tilse heated helm windows from Germany to name but a few."
The Horizon in-house design team has helped bring the Owner’s wishes to life with a warm and inviting interior with plenty of space whilst the eye-catching exterior design is the work of Cor D. Rover Design.
Her unique look extends to the outside of the yacht, with UNTETHERED immediately recognisable thanks to a daring metallic grey hull.
