Project B50 explorer yacht unveiled by Drettmann

Powered by a diesel-electric propulsion system, Project B50 is ready for eco-conscious cruising.

Drettman Yachts has unveiled PROJECT B50, a 49.9m (163.7ft) explorer yacht with a 9.30m (30.5ft) beam, that the builder claims to offer spaciousness, robustness, and high technical sophistication.

With a volume of 499 GT, PROJECT B50 can reach a top speed of 14 knots and has a range of 4,500nm at a cruising speed of 10 knots, making remote exploration possible. Accommodating up to 12 guests in comfort, the yacht is serviced by a dedicated crew of nine members.

A standout feature is the exclusive owner's deck, complete with a master cabin, Jacuzzi, and lounge for relaxation and privacy. Recreational amenities include storage for a chase boat and water sports equipment.

The freshwater pool doubles as a helipad, adding flexibility during adventures. An advanced diesel-electric propulsion system powered by VETH PODs ensures a smooth, quiet ride with exceptional maneuverability.
