Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.5m beam and a 3.78m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,184 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
Construction started in mid 1999 with the keel laid under the project name 'Ambrosiana'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in June 2004.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of the Alfa G is characterized by a raked bow, contributing to both its aesthetic appeal and functional performance. The hull is constructed from durable steel, ensuring strength and longevity, while the superstructure is made from lightweight aluminum, enhancing the yacht's efficiency and stability. Both the hull and superstructure are painted in a clean, white finish, offering a cohesive and timeless look.
A teak deck provides a classic, yet practical surface, known for its durability and resistance to the marine environment. The hull below the waterline is finished in black, matching the boot top color, which adds a touch of contrast and sophistication to the overall design. This combination of materials and colors results in a yacht that is not only visually appealing but also built to withstand the rigors of the sea.
The sundeck is equipped with a swimming pool and bar, providing ample opportunities for relaxation and entertainment. The gym, with its tinted sliding doors, offers a private workout space while allowing natural light to filter through. The sun lounge area can be adapted with movable sun pads and deck chairs to suit various preferences for sunbathing or socializing.
On the upper deck, curved sliding doors open to the aft deck, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Interior Design
The interior design of Alfa G, executed by Winch Design, focuses on functionality and understated elegance. The main saloon features a versatile lounge area with low-slung coffee tables and a grand piano. Adjacent to this is a formal dining area designed to seat 12 guests, illuminated by a crystal chandelier, creating a sophisticated dining environment.
The upper deck offers a secondary dining space with a smaller circular table and distinctive red crocodile chairs. This area is enhanced by curved sliding doors that open to the aft deck, allowing for an indoor-outdoor flow that enhances the dining experience.
Materials used throughout include high-quality finishes and furnishings, chosen for their durability and aesthetic appeal. The layout incorporates various lounges and salons, providing ample space for relaxation and socialization.
The gym on the sundeck, equipped with tinted sliding doors, offers a dedicated space for fitness. The gym's design integrates with the overall interior, maintaining consistency in style and materials.
