Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.9m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the thirteenth yacht built on the 4700 Series design. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in June 2017.

Exterior Design

Artisa's profile embodies a robust, helmet-like silhouette that commands presence on the water. Laupman's design philosophy, influenced by the custom 50-meter motor yacht Sky, is evident in Artisa's more pronounced structure and confident stance.

The vessel's windows on the forward main deck are notably larger and more distinctive, a deliberate choice that not only enhances the yacht's bold appearance but also floods the interior with natural light. The glazing has been scaled up, altering the visual weight and balance of the yacht to achieve a more imposing look.

Artisa's sundeck extends over 83 square meters, offering an open-air retreat complete with a spa pool, sunpads, lounging chairs, and a full-service bar to port. The aft section provides ample seating, ideal for social gatherings or quiet relaxation. The design ethos on the sundeck promotes leisure and versatility, equally suited for private family use or hosting larger groups.

The mast has been redesigned into a triangular form, contributing to the yacht's balanced profile. Practicality and aesthetics align with the inclusion of enclosed rescue tenders on the foredeck, ensuring safety measures integrate smoothly into the yacht's design.

Accents in vibrant orange are interspersed throughout, from the custom Hermès throw blankets and pillows to the strikingly colored dock lines. These elements of personalization underscore the yacht's identity and the owner's influence on the overall design.

The yacht's outdoor spaces are generous, offering nearly 185 square meters dedicated to the exterior decks. A favorite spot for the owners, the bow seating area, provides an intimate setting for enjoying sunsets or the expansive Mediterranean views.

Artisa's interior does not rely on extravagance but instead on the careful selection of materials and the thoughtful integration of each element to serve its purpose.

Interior Design

The use of wood paneling throughout Artisa provides a warm, inviting atmosphere that is both sophisticated and approachable. The paneling is complemented by white rugs that add a soft contrast and contribute to the overall light-filled spaces.

Lighting on board is carefully integrated to enhance the vessel's contemporary feel, with fixtures that are both practical and in keeping with the modern aesthetic. The dining area is illuminated by strategically placed lights that accentuate the simplicity of the space, creating an environment conducive to intimate meals or formal gatherings.

The skylounge is designed as a zen retreat, characterized by a recurring theme of circles, featuring circular walls, which are echoed in the lifted, rounded ceilings above. Directly beneath, there is a large round rug and a circular coffee table, surrounded by a selection of chairs and a low sofa, creating a cozy and inviting setting. The skylounge also houses a games table equipped with leather chairs inspired by mid-century design, allowing the room to shift effortlessly from a quiet, soothing space to an area suitable for entertainment and socializing.

In the galley, the emphasis is on practicality and flow. It includes a breakfast bar for casual dining, reflecting the importance of a space that caters to both the crew and guests. The galley is equipped with professional-grade appliances and ample storage, allowing for efficient meal preparation and service.

Accommodation

Artisa is designed to host up to ten guests, ensuring a personalized and intimate voyage. The layout comprises an impressive main deck owner's stateroom and four additional guest cabins on the lower deck.

The owner's suite is a highlight, distinguished by an expansive and luminous ambiance. Large windows invite natural light to flood the space, accentuating the light grey paneling and white leather headboard. This stateroom not only provides a serene environment for the yacht's owner but also features a standalone marble bath centrally located in a generously sized master bathroom, flanked by hand basins, and separate shower and head cubicles for privacy and convenience.

Below deck, guest accommodations include two VIP cabins, alongside two twin cabins equipped with additional Pullman bunks, offering versatility for a variety of guest arrangements. The yacht's design emphasizes flexibility and can be adapted to feature a private owner's deck on the upper deck if desired, showcasing the builder's commitment to customizable living spaces.

Attention to detail is evident throughout Artisa's accommodation areas, with raised ceilings contributing to an enhanced sense of spaciousness. This design choice not only creates an inviting atmosphere in the staterooms but extends to the crew quarters as well, where ample headroom is particularly appreciated.

Speaking of the crew, Artisa ensures that the nine-member team is well catered for with comfortable living areas and efficient movement throughout the vessel. Storage space is abundant, reflecting thoughtful consideration for the crew's needs and the overall operational functionality of the yacht.
