The 242'9" motor yacht Aurora was delivered to her owners in 2017 by German shipyard Lurssen. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Winch Design, while Lurssen is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 43'4" beam and a 12'4" draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 2,113 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2017 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2017.

Accommodation

Aurora offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising 3 double cabins and 4 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 21 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M63) 2,682hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Aurora is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and underwater lights will turn plenty of heads when the sun goes down. Aurora also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.

Described as ‘a modern interpretation of an old classic’, the interior and exterior have been meticulously styled by the team at Winch Design to lend AURORA an extreme distinctiveness.

The interior is inspired by the 1900s Art Deco era and important artists and designers from the same period. The accommodation includes a beautiful master suite, featuring antique artworks, while each guest cabins was designed with unique characteristics. One of the most significant and imposing areas aboard is the full-width sky lounge.

Numerous artworks can be found on the bridge deck, which features an aft bar. Aurora’s interior – following the vision of the owner, who was heavily involved in the design process – has an Art Deco feel and takes inspiration from key artists and designers from the period.
