Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 28'8" beam and a 10' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Baca is an elegant yacht characterized by a white hull and superstructure, featuring a raked hull design that sits high and provides functionality. The initial foredeck area serves anchoring equipment, while steps lead to a guest area with integrated seating. The bridge deck showcases vertical glazing curved around the front, accompanied by a Portuguese bridge and a shell top from the sun deck, offering shade for the navigation center.
Slim portholes adorn the hull amidships, with circular port holes forward inviting natural light into the lower deck. Large slim portholes prominently feature on the main deck forward, while open fairleads and slim openings within the gunwales break the white hull forward and at the main quarter deck. Sweeping curves flow backward, culminating in deck overhangs and featured strakes.
The sun deck provides a superb guest space, with large rattan daybeds featuring integrated canopies along the aft curvature. Moving forward, a bar on the port side offers high teak chairs with bright blue cushions, while the al fresco dining area is located further forward near the circular elevated jacuzzi tub, surrounded by sun pad cushions.
The upper deck aft boasts an intimate al fresco dining area with two azimuth cross club sofas, benefiting from the shade of the sundeck canopy. Smart teak decks serve as an ideal backdrop for ocean blue and white abstract design cushions.
Interior Design
The interior of yacht Baca exudes style and contemporary flair, reflecting the tastes of her current Californian owners and their ocean lifestyle. Cream and white tones dominate, accented by pops of rich navy and abstract linear patterns, creating an inviting atmosphere in the main salon. Large windows, kept largely unadorned, allow natural light to flood the space, enhancing its airy feel. Light teak wood accents on the walls and supporting columns add warmth and texture to the design.
Moving through to the dining area, a striking blue floating light feature adds elegance and creative interest above the reflective mottled metal-style dining table.
The charming circular salon on the upper deck of yacht Baca features a neutral base that serves as a canvas for vibrant colors to infuse the space with energy. Shades of hot pink, lime, and sea green cushions and throws adorn sumptuous cream sofas, creating a dynamic contrast against the textured cream upholstery. These colorful accents are complemented by a marble-topped table with a wooden support, set atop a dark, midnight blue circular rug that adds depth to the light wood flooring. A large screen, built into a wooden surround, provides entertainment while maintaining the elegant aesthetic of the space.
