Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 25' beam and a 6' draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 272 GT (Gross Tonnes).

She was delivered to her owners in September 2018.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Cazador yacht has a light grey hull, accented with a red boot stripe and a white superstructure. These elements come together to form a visually striking yet practical design that facilitates both navigation and leisure.

The yacht's deck is equipped to support extensive fishing endeavors. It includes a full command crow's nest and an aft upper deck control station. The control station is mounted on a hydraulic system that can be retracted for efficient bridge clearance and maintenance. The accessible bucket from the aft boat deck provides a vantage point for spotting marine activity over extended distances.

Cazador is fitted with a Portuguese Bridge, offering ample seating for observing the surrounding environment. The California Deck is designed for casual outdoor gatherings, with seating for eight, a wet bar, and climate-controlled seating. The deck also houses two 200-gallon bait tanks and multiple rod storage options, emphasizing the yacht’s fishing capabilities.

The vessel's pilothouse integrates commercial-grade marine electronics for reliable navigation. Its design includes side deck stairs and a wraparound settee for optimal visibility. The pilothouse’s construction features forward-angled windshields and strategic overhangs to reduce glare while enhancing visibility.

On the aft boat deck, Cazador carries a custom 25-foot tender and a 15-foot skiff, supported by a 4,500 lb hydraulic davit. The design prioritizes versatility and adventure readiness, with ample deck storage and a ladder providing access to the California Deck. Safety features such as self-deploying life rafts and overhead life jacket storage are integrated throughout.

Interior Design

The Cazador yacht's interior features materials chosen for durability and aesthetic appeal. Brazilian walnut, quarter-sawn sycamore, and maple burl are prominently featured throughout the yacht.

The galley is designed for practicality and efficiency, with ample storage and high-end appliances to support extended cruising. It includes a 36-inch induction cooktop, a convection oven, and a steam oven, making it well-equipped for preparing a range of meals. The wraparound counter seating for six encourages casual dining and social interaction during meal preparation.

The salon offers a spacious area, approximately 50 feet in length, from the entry to the dining section. Custom settees provide seating for up to 14 people and incorporate storage solutions beneath the cushions. The inclusion of three 65-inch HD TVs ensures entertainment options are readily available. A pop-up bar is strategically placed for easy access to refreshments.

In the helm area, commercial-grade Furuno marine electronics facilitate navigation and vessel management. The pilot house is designed with a center-mounted helm chair offering a comprehensive view, flanked by raised seating for guests. A wraparound settee provides additional seating, while a wet bar with a refrigerator is located to starboard.

Accommodation

Cazador offers well-appointed accommodations for both guests and crew. The on-deck master stateroom is a full-beam suite providing expansive views through large windows. It features a king bed facing a 65" TV, alongside ample storage, a seating area, and a vanity. The suite also includes an office space and a coffee bar. The master head is equipped with his and hers sides, each with a sit-down toilet and access to large walk-in closets, complemented by a centrally located, spacious shower.

For guest accommodations, Cazador includes three staterooms on the lower deck. Two VIP staterooms come with queen beds and ensuite facilities, while a third VIP stateroom offers two twin beds and an ensuite head. Each stateroom is designed to maximize natural lighting and maintain the yacht's high standard of finishes.

Crew accommodations for up to seven are thoughtfully provided on Cazador. The crew stateroom to port includes a queen bed and a full head across the hall. Additionally, the forward bow crew stateroom is equipped with three single berths and a shared head. These quarters ensure comfort and accessibility for the crew, mirroring the quality found throughout the yacht. Access to essential areas such as the engine room and shop is facilitated through a hatch and staircase between the bait tanks in the aft cockpit, ensuring operational efficiency.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 1,600hp engines, motor yacht Cazador is capable of reaching a top speed of 21 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
