Design & Construction

Construction started in late 2011 with the keel laid under the project name 'Azuro'. This was the fourth yacht built on the Heesen 5000 design. Launched in April 2014 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2014.
Exterior Design
The 70-square-meter sundeck includes a forward-facing, raised Jacuzzi, a covered bar, and a dining area. This space is designed for both relaxation and social gatherings. Como I's outdoor area also offers panoramic views, providing a constant connection with the surrounding sea. Guests can enjoy the scenery from the Jacuzzi, sunpads, or the outdoor dining table.
Como I showcases dynamic design elements, incorporating curvilinear features that flow seamlessly from the waterline by the transom to the raked flared bow with rounded top sides on the foredeck. Slim vertical portholes are strategically placed within the hull above a bold black bootstrap. The gunwales are opened in sections, adding visual interest while serving their primary operational purpose.
The transom door lifts and opens to provide access to waterside amenities, while twin staircases curve down from the guest area of the main deck aft to access the bathing platform. Ample guest seating is available in this area for relaxation and enjoyment. To access the upper deck aft from this level, a curved staircase is found on the starboard side by the wide opening doors to the salon.
Interior Design
The interior design of Como I combines functionality with subtle elegance. The open-plan salon on the main deck features a chic blend of neutral tones. Plush seating is arranged around a low coffee table, creating a comfortable space for relaxation. Neutral tones dominate the color palette, enhancing the sense of space and light within the room.
The circular salon is another focal point of Como I’s interior. Sliding glass doors and expansive windows allow natural light to flood the space, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. The room’s design includes striking linework that zigzags through the cream carpet and framed art on the walls. Patterned pillows add a touch of character to the space, making it both welcoming and stylish.
Indoor dining is facilitated by a contemporary glass table flanked by comfortable white chairs. An eye-catching painting serves as a focal point, adding a touch of visual interest to the dining area.
Accommodation
Como I accommodates 12 guests in six cabins, ensuring a comfortable and private retreat for all on board. The master cabin, located on the main deck, includes a private study, providing a spacious and serene environment for the owner.
The guest cabins are situated on the lower deck and consist of one VIP double cabin, two additional double cabins, and two twin cabins. Each room is designed with a focus on tranquility and comfort, featuring crisp white sheets, caramel-colored wood furnishings, and delicate overhead lighting. Modern geometric artwork adds a touch of contemporary style to these sleeping quarters.
Como I also provides quarters for a crew of 10, ensuring that guests receive the highest level of service throughout their voyage.

Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M73L) 16-cylinder 3,860hp engines running at 2050rpm, motor yacht Como I is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, and comfortably cruises at 17 knots. With her 18,175 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,000 nautical miles at 16 knots making her well capable of long range and transatlantic voyages. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
