Althea is a 47.51m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Admiral Yachts in 2020. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Gian Marco Companino Design, while Admiral is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.8m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in October 2020 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2020.
Accommodation
Althea offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32 Acert) 1,902hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Althea is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 48,710 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
In addition, a beach club allows for easy access to the water and allows those on board to easily unwind. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads.
