Delivered in 2020, Lady Nina is a 34.99m motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Maiora. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Maiora, while Fossati Design Bureau is responsible for her interior design.
Design & Construction
Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 7.9m beam and a 1.35m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 299 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2019 with the keel laid under the project name 'Exuma'. This was the first yacht built on the Maiora 35 Exuma design. She was delivered to her owners in July 2020.
Exterior Design
Lady Nina's ultra-contemporary exterior design is both striking and timeless. The yacht features expansive deck spaces for sunbathing and outdoor enjoyment, with extensive use of glass to connect the interiors to the outdoor environment. The flybridge includes a private helm station and a spacious saloon, perfect for relaxation and taking in the surroundings. The area also boasts huge lowerable windows and a disappearing stern door, ideal for golden hour cocktails and dinner parties under the stars, enhanced by a sliding 'moon-roof'. The 35.1-meter superyacht has distinctive external lines, a straight bow, a fully open stern, and waterjet propulsion, making Lady NIna, the first hull of Maiora's 35 Exuma range, unique and innovative.
Interior Design
Lady Nina features a custom interior tailored to the owner's preferences by Maiora's Centro Stile. The interior décor incorporates wengè, walnut, and oak wood. The main salon is an open-space entertainment area with a comfortable conversation zone and games table. When the six glass sliding doors to the terraced aft deck and exterior dining table are opened, the area expands to about 60 square meters.
The interior staircase leading to the fly deck forms a 'T', allowing separate access for guests and crew. Unique features include a second wheelhouse forward of the master stateroom for the captain's use and a refrigerated tequila rack integrated into the side column between the main salon and aft deck.
Accommodation
Lady Nina offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five suites comprising an owner cabin located on the main deck, two VIP cabins, and two double cabins. She can also carry up to five crew onboard to ensure full guest service. The airy, full-beam master stateroom is on the main deck forward of the lounge and there are three guest cabins and a VIP suite on the lower deck. In terms of size, the latter is effectively a second owner’s suite and includes a walk-in wardrobe in the bathroom. All the cabins have large windows, especially the master stateroom.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by 3 x diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 12-cylinder 1,925hp engines running at 2300rpm, motor yacht Lady Nina is capable of reaching a top speed of 35 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 22,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 1,600 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
In addition, a swim platform is on hand for guests looking to cool off in the sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Lady Nina also features an inviting spread of sunpads.
