Mado is a 39.25m motor yacht for sale delivered by Taiwanese shipyard Horizon in 2010. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Espinosa Yacht Design, while LUCA DINI Design & Architecture has designed her interiors.
Design & Construction
Designed around a planing aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 1.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 297 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2006. Launched in July 2008 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2009.
Accommodation
Mado offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 1 VIP cabin, 1 double cabin and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M90) 16-cylinder 2,285hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Mado is capable of reaching a top speed of 31 knots, and comfortably cruises at 28 knots. With her 34,736 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 800 nautical miles at an economic speed of 24 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
