Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8m beam and a 1.98m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 297 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the seventh yacht built on the ThirtySix design. Launched in March 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.

Exterior Design

Q43 features a contemporary plumb bow. Employing the Van Oossanen patented Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), this design ensures comfortable sailing and fuel efficiency across all speeds. With its slender, fluid profile and a perfect eight-meter width at its broadest point, the hull design of the seventh award-winning Mulder ThirtySix series promises exceptional seakeeping capabilities.

The upper deck maintains a clean, unbroken line, providing shade for the main deck aft guest area.  At the stern, twin staircases lead down to the bathing platform, while the beach club is revealed through a large central transom door, extending the platform for leisure and water activities. The transverse tender garage ensures secure storage for a 6.25m tender, two full-size jet skis, sea bobs, diving gear, and kayaks.

The waterside club is equipped with a wet bar, TV, day toilet, outdoor shower, and luxurious swimming facilities, serving as a protected embarkation platform for safe boarding. The platform extends around the sides to create a narrow shelf positioned just above the smart bootstrap detail. This feature runs parallel to a prominent strake on the main deck level.

Large sections of glazing within the hull flood the interiors with natural light. The side decks, exceeding 80cm in width, facilitate safe and easy operations, complemented by high stainless steel railings with teak cap rails and lowered bulwarks.

On the sun deck, a spa pool adjoins an inviting bar and sun pad area. The fully equipped outdoor steering position, outdoor diner, and pop-out TV from the ceiling provide additional comfort and entertainment options. Integrated features like the sundeck bar with cold storage, icemaker, and sink, alongside the service bar with BBQ, ensure functionality and convenience throughout the layout.

Q43 features a sleek plumb bow and Van Oossanen's Fast Displacement Hull Form for smooth, efficient performance.

Interior Design

The interior design of the Q43 is the work of Vickers Studio, who have crafted a personalized space characterized by light white backgrounds framed with walnut joinery. The use of turquoise and green-blue fabrics throughout the yacht, along with custom carpets, creates a cohesive aesthetic. These colors were specifically chosen to match the organic wall art featured prominently in the yacht, drawing inspiration from seagrass and sea forests.

In the main saloon, the open-plan layout is efficiently utilized, with two storage and bar facilities situated on either side of the room. Barista facilities are prominently featured and customized to the highest standards. The décor in the saloon includes light white backgrounds and walnut joinery, harmonizing with the turquoise and green-blue fabrics and custom carpets.

Accommodation

Q43 offers comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests in a five-stateroom configuration. The owner's suite is a highlight with its custom carpets and fabrics in turquoise and green-blue tones, inspired by the organic wall art throughout the yacht.

In addition to the owner's suite, there are four guest cabins. Two of these staterooms feature red highlights, a favorite color of the owner, with fabrics sourced from Jean Paul Gaultier. These personal touches ensure that each guest room is unique and thoughtfully designed.

Q43 also provides accommodation for a crew of six, housed in three cabins located on the lower deck.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-18) 608hp engines, motor yacht Q43 is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots.

Q43 boasts a sun deck spa pool, beach club with wet bar, and five luxurious staterooms for 10 guests.
