Hau Tree is a 106' motor yacht delivered by American shipyard Burger Boat in 2004. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Burger Boat, while Burger Design is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 22' beam and a 6' draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 183 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Raising Dough features a raised pilothouse and a modern-classic coastal style, creating a balanced and practical aesthetic. The flybridge is spacious and equipped with a custom hardtop, which covers the helm and the wet bar. Guests have the option to relax on the aft deck settee, enjoy shade on a stool at the granite-topped wet bar, or dine at the C-shaped dinette with table. Entertainment options include a wing TV and a center drop-down TV. The flybridge also features a built-in Eskimo ice maker for convenience.
The cockpit is shaded by the flybridge, providing a comfortable area for guests to relax while enjoying the ocean breeze. The cockpit maintains traditional elements with its teak sole and enclosed bulwarks topped with a varnished teak cap rail. A racetrack-shaped custom teak dining table with inlay seats six guests, Teak doors lead to wide side decks on both port and starboard sides.
The bow area includes lounge seating, offering another spot for guests to enjoy the view. The exterior design prioritizes practicality and guest comfort, ensuring a pleasant experience on board.
The bow is raked, which aids in slicing through waves and improving the yacht's overall seaworthiness. The hull and superstructure are painted white, creating a clean and timeless appearance. The deck is crafted from teak, offering a warm and classic look while providing a sturdy and slip-resistant surface.
Distinctive red and black accents along the boot top add a touch of contrast and sophistication to the vessel's appearance. Below the waterline, the hull is painted light blue, a detail that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional, assisting with underwater visibility and maintenance.
Interior Design
Entering from the cockpit, the salon features two portside sofas paired with a coffee table, offering a comfortable space for relaxation. The entertainment center is located to starboard. Natural light floods the salon through an array of windows, highlighting the warm tones of the oak interior. Forward in the salon, a dining table accommodates six guests, positioned to port. A wet bar and a commercial-grade galley are situated to starboard.
The galley, centrally located for ease of service, is equipped with Kuppersbusch appliances and a Sub-zero fridge and freezer. This setup allows the crew to cater efficiently to guests whether they are in the salon, cockpit, or flybridge.
The pilothouse, accessible by steps lined with a bronze railing, features wraparound glass panels for unobstructed views. The helm station has a full glass-bridge system. The area is finished with English Brown Oak and grand moldings, and the helm console trim is made from hand-picked burl wood, surrounded by leather and oak. The pilothouse floor is made from English Oak and Wengé hardwood.
Accommodation
Raising Dough offers accommodation for up to 10 guests across five well-appointed staterooms. The master stateroom is accessed via a private stairway. This stateroom features a queen-sized berth and a central foyer adorned with double-arched doors. The headboard is crafted from burl wood within a stile-and-rail gridwork of quartered English brown oak. The master suite also includes a his-and-hers ensuite head, accessible from either side of the berth.
Adjacent to the master stateroom, the yacht has two guest staterooms. The port side VIP stateroom is equipped with a queen-size berth and an ensuite head. On the starboard side, the VIP stateroom features a twin-size berth and an ensuite head. The foyer servicing these rooms includes a mirrored sculpture niche and a patterned Wengé sole. A concealed, built-in stacked laundry center is also located in the foyer.
Additionally, Raising Dough offers two more ensuite guest staterooms, including a second VIP stateroom, bringing the total guest accommodation to 10.
She is also capable of carrying up to four crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C30) 1,550hp engines, motor yacht Hau Tree is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 6,976 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
