The 49.8m motor yacht Vica was delivered to her owners in 2015 by Italian shipyard Benetti. Benetti is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement GRP hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.26m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2012. This was the first yacht built on the FB800 Series design. She was completed at Benetti's Viareggio yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2015.
Exterior Design
The exterior spaces of Vica are conceived to maximize the enjoyment of the sea and sun. The covered aft decks offer generous room for relaxation and socializing, extending the living space beyond the interior confines. The main deck's walkways are notably wide, allowing for easy and secure movement throughout the vessel, enhancing the sense of freedom that open water brings.
Strategically positioned port and starboard stairs at the forward end of the main deck link to the upper deck. Here, guests are greeted by an expansive forward seating and sunning area, complete with a spa pool that serves as an inviting oasis during the warm Mediterranean cruising season. This thoughtful design element underscores Vica's identity as a yacht intended for those who seek to bask in the natural elements.
The ingenuity in Vica's design continues with the integration of a protected seating area just aft of the saloon doors, where guests can enjoy the fresh air while lounging on large teak sofas. The inclusion of a recessed television in this area perfectly marries the concepts of outdoor leisure and indoor comfort, ensuring that the transition between environments is both fluid and intuitive.
On the sundeck, a second spa pool is encircled by sunbathing areas, creating an idyllic setting for relaxation and social gatherings under the sun or stars. Upon entering the main saloon, guests are greeted by a spacious aft section that boasts a bar and a Yamaha baby grand piano, complemented by a karaoke setup and plush seating arrangements. The generous use of sliding glass doors merges indoor and outdoor living seamlessly, encouraging guests to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views. The saloon transitions into a secondary lounge area, delineated by illuminated columns and a buffet, creating an intimate media space for relaxation and entertainment.
The joinery's primary material is cherry wood, accented by touches of rosewood, imparting a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. The soft goods maintain a neutral palette, ensuring that the interior does not overshadow the vibrant beauty of the surrounding seascape. Notably, the use of bamboo-fiber carpets throughout the yacht underscores the owner's preference for eco-friendly options.
The formal dining area, intentionally relocated to the upper saloon, capitalizes on the panoramic views provided by expansive sliding glass doors. Here, an elegantly embellished overhead complements an oval dining table, which can accommodate six to twelve guests, creating a setting perfect for memorable dining experiences.
The lower lobby surprises with a fold-down sea terrace, providing yet another intimate connection with the marine environment.
Accommodation
Vica offers sumptuous living quarters for up to ten guests, ensuring an intimate and exclusive yachting experience. The guest accommodations are comprised of two lavish double cabins and two twin cabins, all situated on the lower deck. Each cabin has been carefully appointed with the finest materials and finishes, reflecting the yacht's overall sophisticated aesthetic. The predominant woodwork throughout the yacht, predominantly cherry with rosewood accents, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while the use of environmentally friendly bamboo-fiber carpeting adds a touch of sustainable elegance.
The master suite, a sanctuary of serenity and luxury, is located on the main deck. This full-beam stateroom a permanent balcony that allows for an al fresco experience even while underway. This unique feature is complemented by watertight glass doors, providing guests with the perfect blend of indoor comfort and outdoor connection. The suite includes a surprisingly spacious office, allowing for privacy and quiet contemplation or work if needed.
Ensuring the smooth operation of Vica, the yacht also accommodates a dedicated and professional crew of 12, who are housed in 7 separate quarters designed to offer both comfort and functionality. Performance & Capabilities
Vica is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines, each capable of delivering a formidable 970 kilowatts of power. This impressive propulsion system catapults Vica to an exhilarating top speed of 15.5 knots, with a cruising speed that comfortably sits at 14 knots. For those leisurely, extensive voyages, dropping her pace to 12 knots affords her a substantial range of 4,000 nautical miles, ensuring that she can glide across the seas with minimal stops for refueling.
The engineering excellence of Vica is not just limited to her impressive speed and range. She is equipped with a technical tunnel that runs from stern to bow at bilge level, allowing for an organized and efficient layout of essential equipment. In addition, adjoining the water, a beach club lets those on board enjoy the feeling of being close to the sea. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Vica also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
