Delivered in 2016, X is an award winning 42.78m expedition yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.4m beam and a 2.55m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 475 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2014. This was the second yacht built on the 460Exp design. Launched in March 2016 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in May 2016.
Exterior Design
Built at Sanlorenzo and delivered in 2016, X belongs to the stylish 460Exp range, designed for long-range cruising with complete self-sufficiency and comfort. She is distinguished by generous outdoor spaces rarely seen on a yacht of her size.
Starting aft, the main deck features an expansive area highlighted by an 8-cubic-metre swimming pool that doubles as an oversized Jacuzzi. The dense floor structure and a 4.5-ton crane make it possible to launch and recover large tenders, a seaplane, a submarine, or a ski boat. The swim platform converts into a private beach club, accessible from both port and starboard sides even while at sea.
Moving up, the bridge deck offers a large lounge area and alfresco dining space capable of seating up to 14 guests. The upper deck also connects directly to the sky lounge, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The sun deck is crowned with a hardtop for shade and privacy. At the forward end, there's a sitting area perfect for observation, while aft, guests will find six sunbeds and a bar ready for casual afternoons or evening cocktails. The top deck also hosts a fully-equipped gym, a rarity on yachts of this size, which could easily be repurposed into a cigar room if preferred.
Overall, X’s design lines remain sleek and purposeful, with a robust explorer profile suited for adventurous cruising, blending elegance and utility across every level.
Interior Design
X’s interior captures the essence of contemporary Italian design, shaped by Francesco Paszkowski. Clean lines, natural textures, and an abundance of light from oversized windows create a calm, inviting atmosphere.
Entering from the main deck, guests step into the salon, divided into three distinct zones: a relaxed lounge area, a TV corner to starboard, and an intimate dining table for two. The space is flooded with natural light, adding to the open feel.
The sky lounge, accessible from the external starboard staircase, provides a relaxed second interior lounge. Adjacent to it are the bridge and pantry, located to port, with direct access out onto the bridge deck aft. A noteworthy feature is the crew passageway running from the crew quarters all the way to the engine room - a hallmark of the 460Exp series.
Accommodation
X accommodates up to 12 guests across six staterooms, laid out with flexibility and comfort in mind.
The main deck forward houses the full-beam master suite, complete with two dressing rooms and generous living space. On the lower deck, the layout continues with two VIP staterooms aft, two twin cabins that convert into doubles and include Pullman berths, a guest double cabin to starboard, and a spare room that can function as either a playroom or staff cabin.
The arrangement is perfectly suited to families or groups of friends, adapting easily to different guest needs.
A professional crew of eight ensures a seamless onboard experience, maintaining the yacht’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C-32 ACERT) 1,320hp engines, motor yacht X is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. With her 62,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,140 nautical miles at 11 knots.
