Arcadia announce sale of eco-friendly Sherpa XL

Italian shipyard Arcadia Yachts have announced the sale of a Sherpa XL unit.

Measuring up at 23.9 metres, the Sherpa XL made her global debut at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival.

Powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 1,050 engines, the Italian vessel has max speeds of 22 knots with cruising speeds meeting 12 knots for a range of around 1,500 nautical miles.

Featuring the trademark solar panels that Arcadia are known for, the eco-friendly Sherpa XL is currently one in five vessels being constructed at the yard facility based in Naples.

Innovative solutions integrated onboard allow owners and their guests to make the most of the surrounding views with narrow bulwarks and a side hatch for launching tenders kept forward of the engine room, instead of the usual aft storage and launching pad.

Two different layouts can be chosen for the Sherpa XL, including a three of four cabin layout. Both options include a functional galley, situated on the lower deck for a three cabin layout, or in the skylounge for the four cabin layout.

All interiors are designed by Hot Lab, with the upper deck being served by a bar and pantry facilities.
