Completed just a week apart, Benetti have successfully delivered two brand new vessels to their owners. Carried out in conjunction with the timings of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous in Viareggio, motor yacht GOOD DAY and BAYA have left the Benetti facility ready for their maiden voyages.
Both the Mediterraneo 116 and Delfino 95 are members of the Class range from the Benetti fleet and have once again demonstrated why these two models are so popular from the range.
Although distinctly different, they feature similar design efforts by Giorgio M. Cassetta for the exterior lines and indulgent interiors by Benetti's Interior Style Department.
Presented to her new owner on the 15th of May at the Viareggio facility, the fifth hull of the Delfino 95 model, named BAYA, made her way in to open waters. Sporting impressive design work from long term collaborator Giorgio M Cassetta, Baya boasts an exciting interior selection of chrome accents.
A collection of Tay, Eucalyptus and Ash woods are complimented with brass detailing and finished with an indulgent array of premium furnishings.
Enjoying the great outdoors is an exciting adventure for guests staying onboard with mesmerising views available from the sun deck. Comfortable sofa and table combinations provide exemplary al fresco options for enjoying after dinner coffees or cocktails with undisturbed views.
Further down on the upper deck, guests can still enjoy seating on the roomy exteriors with sofas on the stern, plus shaded seating. A Jacuzzi and reclining sunbeds complete the exterior living ensemble along with the easy access swim platform below.
The main deck of the 29 metre motor yacht is a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests to enjoy the experience of a Benetti vessel. A dedicated living space includes a homely relaxation area with plush seating and premium quality furnishings. A 10 seater table also provides the owner with a formal dining option to entertain guests in the evening.
In addition to a fully equipped galley with a large wine cellar, the main deck also hosts an admirable owner's cabin in the bow. Dominated by a bed with leather decoration, the owner's cabin has great views over the front of the yacht and the bathroom features prestige marble.
On the lower deck there is enough accommodation for up to eight guests. Comprising of a layout of two VIP cabins and two guest cabins, each allotted guest cabin on the lower deck has its own private bathroom.
Powered by a pair of 1,000hp Man V8s Baya can achieve a range of 2,400 nautical miles while cruising at 10 knots.
Delivered a week before BAYA on the 8th of May, GOOD DAY is the fourth hull of the Mediterraneo 116 and features extensive details tailored to the owner's requirements.
Measuring up at 35.5 metres, the quadruple deck vessel features some unique design elements which create a different atmosphere in various areas of the yacht. The lower deck boasts Tay, Elm and Tanganyika woods and the upper decks only feature the Tanganyika and Elm. In addition to the variations in wood being used within the interiors, the bathrooms also comprise of an interesting selection of marbles and mosaics.
Guest entertainment is of importance to the new owner of Good Day with the upper deck dedicated to amusing onboard guests. A swimming pool and sunbathing area dominate the foredeck, while the interiors boast a karaoke area and gaming room, complete with wine cellar and a smoking friendly ventilation system. Access to the sun deck is also available on the upper deck which provides an exceptional al fresco dining option and spectacular views.
Less informal than the upper deck, the main deck is of a formal nature with facing sofas and a rounded table for 12 occupants. Ideal for presentation dinners, the ambience of the main saloon is formal but still indulgent.
Dominating the main deck is the owner's suite in the bow. The spacious bedroom area is accompanied by a private study and roomy wardrobe, along with large panoramic windows which fill the suite with an abundance of natural light. One more additional feature to be noted is the addition of a bathtub and shower bench at the owner's request.
Further guest accommodation can be found on the lower deck, each with their own private marbled bathroom. The customised layout for Good Day comprises of four guest cabins, along with another four cabins for crew.
