Benetti introduces the FB255 Formosa at Monaco
Adorning the stage at the Benetti stand at the 2015 Monaco Boat Show, the oriental inspired Formosa will make her worldwide debut.
Standing at 60 metres she is classed as the latest jewel of naval architecture from the Italian brand and boasts no less than five decks.
With exterior designs and architecture created by the talented in house team, interiors of the guest areas below deck were envisaged by a collaboration between Dutch studio Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and Jan Jaap Minnema of Fraser Yachts, who represents the owner.
Entertainment onboard reflects the passions of the owner, with an impressive selection of speaker from the reputable brand Steynway Lyngdorf. In addition to the many speakers in the guest cabins and social areas, two DJ locations can be found onboard as well as a movie theatre in the upper sky deck lounge.
The entire upper deck is completely reserved for the owner, with lavish design work continuing throughout. Elaborate his and hers bathrooms come complete with traditional Japanese wooden bathtubs, with easy connection to a superior bedroom with 180 degree panoramic views.
The main deck boasts a spacious salon with ample space for guests to relax both indoors and out. Suitable for all types of weather conditions, Formosa also inhabits a specific VIP night time area and another smaller salon doubles as a game room for guests.
With the master cabin on the upper deck and two VIP rooms on the main deck, both sporting oriental styled bathrooms, another two cabins are found on the lower deck with one additional pullman berth.
Out on deck the beach is spacious with plenty of space to relax. Sunpads, an American style peninsula bar and a small salon set the scene for exciting afternoons in the sun, plus a larger than custom designed swimming pool features a current generator.
The Formosa can reach top speeds of 16 knots with an admirable cruising speed of 15 knots.
