Coming just six months after the sale of its first hull, Bering Yachts has sold a second unit of its flagship B145 explorer yacht.
Measuring 45m (148ft), the Bering 145 is the first superyacht in the Bering fleet and mixes a transoceanic range of 4,000nm at 12 knots with generous interior spaces and a functional layout.
“The sale of the first B145 was a milestone for the company, but a second hull so soon after is a remarkable achievement,” says Alexey Mikhailov, President of Bering Yachts. “Not only is it a testament to our growing construction capacity, but also to our ability to satisfy customer requests for ocean-going yachts that are capable, reliable and comfortable.”
The Bering 145 is the work of Bering’s own in-house team of naval architects and engineers and features a full displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
In a break from Bering’s previous builds she is fully customized with various requests from the Owner, who is an avid scuba diver. This is shown most notably in a fully equipped diving room between the beach club and the engine room with its own fold-down door and decompression chamber.
The Owner also priorities reduced noise and vibration, with additional sound proofing measures being introduced to make the yacht as silent as possible both at anchor and underway.
Elsewhere there are five comfortable guest suites on the lower deck, a master stateroom on the main deck forward and a second master suite behind the wheelhouse on the bridge deck. A full-beam main deck stateroom benefits from a fold-down balcony, along with a private bar, lounge area and night area. The transom beach club offers a luxurious space to relax with a sauna and spa.
The explorer yacht will be delivered in 2023. The first Bering 145, named DIONIS, is set to be with her Owner by the end of this year.
A relatively new shipyard, Bering Yachts launched its inaugural yacht in 2015 following this up with the 24m (79ft) Bering 80, 'Beyond Capricorn' a year later. It currently has a further eight yachts set to be delivered over the next two years with an average length of 36.5m (120ft).
Explorer yachts like the Bering 145 offer long-range cruising and the ability to remain self-contained for long periods of time. If you are interested in exploring the capabilities of this type of vessel you can view all new and pre-owned explorer yachts for sale.
