Bering Yachts has launched its latest project, 23.99m (78.7ft) B77 explorer yacht VERONIKA, as it gears up for a busy second half of 2021 that will see a further three launches.
Designed in house, the steel hulled yacht is distinguishable by her bulbous bow and hard chined hull sides. The bow height translates into a dry ride and creates expansive interior proportions contributing to the 170GT of volume across her three decks that outperforms most other yachts in the sub 24m (78.7ft) bracket according to the yard.
Offering accommodation for six guests across three cabins she features a full-beam flybridge and a large boat deck for tender and crane storage aft.
Twin Cummins Inc. SQM 11 diesel engines give VERONIKA a range of over 4,000nm at a cruising speed of 8 knots, and she has a top speed of 11 knots.
“With this 77 footer we are opening a new chapter of compact cruisers,” says Alexei Mikhailov, Bering Yachts’ founder and director: “She may not be the longest yacht in the marinas, but you just have to look at the specs to understand her capabilities. Her communications are just one example: Veronika has two satellite Internet antennas and all the systems are doubled up so she will never be without sat comms. This is a yacht you can rely on”.
VERONIKA is set to undergo local sea trials before transferring to Australia to start high-latitude exploration cruising.
Bering Yachts also has plans to launch three more hulls in the second half of 2021 the Bering 70, Bering 92 and Bering 76.
