Construction of innovative 65m ISA Classic resumes

Palumbo Superyachts have revealed exciting details of its new 65m ISA Classic as construction resumes at its Ancona-based shipyard following the lifting of lockdown.

The ISA Classic, which is expected to launch in 2021, mixes innovative technical solutions and some striking design work and color systems. She has six cabins, and also a convertible seventh cabin, to accommodate 12 guests and is over 1,400 GT.

The eye-catching interiors and exteriors are the work of Team For Design, who have been involved in several of the new ISA Yachts’ for sale over recent years, including the Continental line.

Behind the classic profile are some cutting edge technical concepts, most notably an amazing 180 square meter beach club. This is created when the stern door folds down to sea level and the corresponding portion of the aft swim platform tilts and aligns itself with the opened stern door, creating a water level beach club of stunning proportions.

A unique gangway opening mechanism, that is installed sideways, rather than lengthwise, catches the eye too. It is divided into two sections and has a pantographic retracting system that has been designed specifically to increase space in the beach club - allowing for a 2.1m ceiling height throughout.

Something else that sets the ISA Classic apart from other superyachts for sale are the three separate ways to access the beach club - via an external staircase, an internal staircase and a glass corridor which crosses the engine room and directly connects the beach club to the lower deck lobby and guest cabins.

The extensive lower deck area is undoubtedly somewhere guests will want to spend time, as it also includes a lounge area, bar, showers, fully equipped gym, sauna, massage room and welcome area for guest boarding and disembarking.

A classic cobalt blue is the dominant color scheme, creating a cool and calm ambiance throughout that is complimented perfectly by a frosted Murano glass panel that decorates the front of the bar counter.

This serene feeling is enhanced further by a soothing LED lighting system. Sinuous waves of teak combine with the lights to reflect on stainless steel and glass sheets on the teak lined ceiling and also on the glass floor of the 6m long pool on the main deck. The result is a shimmering, dappled light effect that creates a soothing and enchanting atmosphere on board day and night.
