Greenline Yachts has announced the latest model to join its range of flybridge cruisers, the 18.2m (60ft) 58 Fly.
The Slovenian yard has revealed it was the success of its 45 Fly, which has sold over 50 hulls, that lead to the development of the new flybridge yacht. The 58 Fly also marks the start of a new partnership between the builder and Marco Casali of Too Design and MICAD engineering.
Luca Raumland, Head of Sales and Marketing at Greenline Yachts' parent company SVP Yachts, explains more: “After the launch of the 45 Fly we have been overwhelmed with positive feedback on the design and concept with 50 units sold. Many customers are looking to upgrade having fallen for the hybrid concept, so for us a 58 Fly is the next logical step.
“It is hugely exciting for us to create this new yacht in collaboration with our Italian team of Marco Casali and Too Design and MICAD, who are responsible for the engineering side. This is the next generation of Greenline yacht but it stays true to what the brand has always stood for, which is sustainable boating at a reasonable price.”
The new partnership has come up with a fresh exterior look, with clean lines and tight proportions, and a few interesting takes on the traditional yacht layout. The cockpit seating, for instance, sits at 90 degrees from the more conventional arrangement with its benches running along the boat’s centerline, so everyone seated at the table has a view over the water.
The flybridge comes as standard with an aft-mounted radar mast, as well as a wet bar, dinette and plenty of open space located aft.
Inside the standard arrangement comprises three cabins, two bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes for the Owner’s and VIP ensuites. The full-beam Owner’s suite is located amidships, with the double VIP in the bow and twin to starboard.
This is the next generation of Greenline yacht but it stays true to what the brand has always stood for, which is sustainable boating at a reasonable price.

There is also a strong environmental focus. Eleven solar panels produce 3.6kW of power, and Greenline has developed a new hybrid system with a pair of 25kW motors including an adaptable hydraulic clutch that can be connected inline to any shaft drive engine.
When it comes to performance engines, choices include 610hp and 715hp Cummins diesels, both available with hybrid drive, and a diesel-only twin 1,000hp Caterpillar engine to give top speeds of up to 30 knots.
The 58 Fly is expected to launch in Autumn 2022.
Founded in 2008, Greenline quickly established a name for itself with its eco and efficiency-focused cruisers. In fact, just two years later in 2010, its Greenline 33 Hybrid became the world’s best selling 10m (33ft) boat, having sold more than 550 hulls to owners in 28 countries.
