Heesen deliver 55m motor yacht SOLEMATES to experienced owner

Dutch shipyard Heesen have successfully delivered 55m (180') motor yacht SOLEMATES to her new owner following intensive sea trials.

Previously known as Project Castor during production, motor yacht SOLEMATES shares the same name as the owner's previous vessel, motor yacht SOLEMATES, a 60m 2010 build from Lurssen.

Boasting an on time delivery in spite of the global COVID-19 pandemic, SOLEMATES offers a Gross Tonnage of 760GT, making her the most voluminous superyacht for sale by a Northern European shipyard.

Constructed with an FDHF (fast displacement hull form) created by Van Oossanen, the iconic Heesen Steel range superyacht has premium performance levels which are accompanied by efficient fuel consumption rates.

We have been beyond impressed with how the Heesen team adapted to the pandemic. They have adjusted their working hours to increase social distancing yet retain optimal man hours on our project and preserve an on-time, high-quality delivery which is no small feat in these challenging times.
