New Italian design studio LDWO has revealed a superyacht concept inspired by the work of German composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
The 62m (203.4ft) ‘My Elisa’ concept claims to follow the principles of simplicity in its design, the name coming from Beethoven’s classic composition “per Elisa”, which was comprised of just a few notes. The goal, according to the founder of LDWO, Jacopo Leoni, is to “create, with a few lines, a unique yacht appearance."
The 1,000GT idea is designed specifically for mature guests and features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Onboard highlights include large main and upper saloons that benefit from plenty of natural light thanks to extensive glazing, an aft beach lounge with comfortable sofas and a private infinity pool for the Owner. An aft tender garage is large enough to store a Castoldi 23 and SOLAS rescue boat and multiple toys including three jet skis and seabobs.
The motor yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests across six staterooms and will sport twin CAT engines with a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000nm at 10 knots.
‘My Elisa’ is the first composition from LDWO Design Studio, headed up by Jacopo Leoni. Leoni spent a number of years working in a shipyard, and it was the close contact with the production and design of yachts that bought him back to his roots and passion for yacht design.
Whilst ‘My Elisa’ is currently just a concept if you are interested in buying a superyacht there is an extensive selection to choose from. To start your search view all new and pre-owned superyachts for sale.
