Italian builder Pardo Yachts has launched its new flagship yacht, as it joins a four-model line that has an impressive 200 sales in the past three years.
The Pardo Endurance 60 recently hit the water for the first time to take its place alongside the Pardo 38, 43 and 50 in the popular series.
The 18m (60ft) yacht has a strong family and liveaboard focus, its main deck area has two fold-out side terraces to create an impressive outside space dedicated to relaxation and socializing. The stern also features a height-adjustable, hydraulic swim platform. Outside the stern is a dining area with a relaxing lounger, chairs and a table.
A feature unique to the Endurance 60 is a flybridge zone that is customizable according to Owner requirements.
Inside, the dining zone and lounge area are raised and positioned towards the bow for scenic views and the three cabins include a full-beam Owner’s suite. Power-wise twin Volvo Penta IPS engines give a cruising speed of 10 to 12 knots and a top speed of 25 knots.
“The Endurance 60 is a project in which the ability to navigate well in displacement and planing stands out,” says Gigi Servidati, head of new model development at Cantiere del Pardo. “This is why we have thoroughly studied the hull lines using CFD analysis, making the most of the know-how that comes from almost 50 years of experience in shipbuilding.”
The Endurance 60 is set to officially debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
Although the Pardo Yachts brand only entered the market in 2016, its Cantiere del Pardo parent company was established in 1973 and has since built over 4,500 vessels. Its popular Pardo line ranges in size from 11.5m (37.7ft) to 18m (60ft) with the introduction of the Pardo Endurance 60.
