Singapore Yacht Show faces further disappointment following 2020 cancellation

Lightning has struck again on the Singapore Yacht Show as the postponed event has now been cancelled altogether.

Originally scheduled to run from 19-22 March, the Singapore Yacht Show was one of the first events to be postponed as a direct result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Organized by Verventia, initial optimism saw the the event rescheduled to take place from 15-18 October 2020.

However, even with the additional seven months, the ongoing concern of COVID-19 and the associated travel restrictions has resulted in further disappointment with the cancellation of one of the region's biggest events.

In what would have been the 10th anniversary edition, the show was take place at the award winning ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove marina which covers an extensive 50,000 sqm.

As an event which is known for premium facilities and a capacity for up to 270 yachts, including 200ft superyachts, the prestigious four day event annually welcomes hundreds of visitors and hosts the anticipated Asia Boating Awards ceremony.

We will all pull together and plan for a bigger, better and safer Singapore Yacht Show than ever in April 2021.
