Italian brand Tecnomar has unveiled its DOMUS concept, which applies the gigantic aft deck of sister yard Admiral’s GECO to a smaller aluminium hull packed with entertainment areas.
The 36 sq. m (387.5 sq. ft) space is the centrepiece of the new yacht, which has been designed in-house by parent company The Italian Sea Group.
During the day, that remarkable aft deck acts as an open-air beach club, shielded to the sides by high bulwarks and tall windows, with steps leading directly into the water at the stern. In the evening, it transforms into a spot for some spacious alfresco dining.
The foredeck has a more intimate sunlounge, while the sundeck has another lounge with panoramic ocean views, a bar, a DJ booth and a solarium. Through the windproof door aft are sun loungers that provide a brilliant view overlooking the stern.

Ten guests can be accommodated in the five cabins, and the glamorous interior uses floor-to-ceiling windows to let people bathe in natural light no matter where they are onboard. When the time comes, those interested in buying the yacht will get materials that include brown leathers, light woods and white marble, creating a natural and relaxing atmosphere throughout.
The main salon is a wide and diverse area that offers so much space for socialising, just aft of the galley. To port is a lounge area, while a dining area rests starboard.
Below deck, there’s a fully equipped gym in the bow of DOMUS, positioned next to a living area that can function as a bar.
The yacht is a hybrid that uses four Volvo engines alongside two generators. The top speed is approximately 21 knots and it also has zero-speed stabilisers.
