Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.4m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 2,250 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2015. Launched in March 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2019.

Exterior Design

The use of glass throughout the yacht's salon on the main deck is notable, with expansive windows composed of six large panes that provide uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape.

The exterior's practicality extends to the tender garage on the side of the yacht, which features a soft patch for access to the pump room below. This thoughtful design allows for the efficient replacement of equipment if necessary, minimizing potential downtime. The garage is strategically positioned to facilitate tender recovery without impinging on guest areas, reflecting a design that prioritizes both guest experience and operational efficiency.

Dragon's beach club is another significant exterior feature, spanning 200 square meters and offering fold-down platforms that enhance the connection with the sea. This social space is designed for relaxation and entertainment, with a bar, hammam, sauna, and lounging areas that invite guests to unwind in close proximity to the water.

The attention to detail is apparent in every aspect of the yacht's interior, from the strategic placement of custom carpets to the alignment of furniture and fixtures.

Interior Design

The design concept of Dragon leans towards simplicity and brightness, marrying the Provençal style with a modern aesthetic. To achieve this vision, the interior spaces utilize a palette of soft, neutral tones complemented by deliberate decorative elements.

In the creation of Dragon's interior, the choice of materials plays a pivotal role in defining the atmosphere within. The use of travertino romano flooring, interspersed with white oak inlays, establishes a foundation of natural elegance. Custom furniture pieces feature prominently throughout, with metal accent inlays finished in bronze, providing a subtle contrast and a touch of sophistication.

Inside Dragon, guests are greeted by an array of thoughtfully designed amenities intended to enhance the onboard experience. The main salon serves as a central gathering space, anchored by a bespoke dining table by Giorgetti, which features a marble top resonating with the flooring. The salon is also marked by large windows that facilitate an abundance of natural light, contributing to the open and airy ambiance.

Throughout the yacht, bronze and satin gold details serve as understated accents against the white walls, fostering an environment that is both welcoming and refined. These elements of design continuity are evident in the various living areas, where guests can find comfort and tranquility.

The lift, with its melted bronze-effect outer casing, connects the decks and serves as a practical yet aesthetically pleasing feature. Within the cabins and common spaces, carefully selected fixtures and fittings, such as Porta Romana side-table lamps and Dedar headboards, complement the overall design narrative.

Accommodation

Dragon provides a generous arrangement for up to 14 guests across seven well-appointed suites, ensuring comfort and privacy for each individual on board.

At the heart of the guest quarters is the owner's cabin, which showcases expansive 180-degree views, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the sea.

In addition to the owner's suite, Dragon features two VIP cabins that exude a similar level of sophistication and comfort. The remaining guest accommodations include four double en-suite cabins. Each is outfitted with a double bed positioned athwartships, a private dressing room, and a refined en-suite bathroom.

For the crew, Dragon ensures that those who work tirelessly behind the scenes also enjoy high standards of living while on board. The yacht can house up to 21 crew members, allowing for a high crew-to-guest ratio, which guarantees that every need is attended to with efficiency and discretion.
