Next is a multi-award winning 40m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts in 2015. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by HydroTec, while her interiors are the work of Hot Lab.
Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.14m beam and a 2.29m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 398 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Launched in May 2015 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2015.
Accommodation
Next offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 7 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 2000 M94) 1,920hp engines running at 2450rpm, motor yacht Next is capable of reaching a top speed of 20 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 42,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,300 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
Amenities
The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Next also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
