Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.8m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 1,939 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2005 with the keel laid under the project name 'Shark'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in December 2007 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in May 2008.
Exterior Design
Horizons III presents a striking exterior with a deep blue hull contrasting against a pristine white superstructure, showcasing a classic yet commanding design envisioned by Espen Oeino. The yacht's profile features a sharply raked bow and a blunt stern.
The immediate foredeck serves primarily as a functional space for anchoring and mooring equipment, while twin stairways, sheltered by the upper deck overhang, provide access to the forward areas of the next deck level. Side balconies, mirrored by extensions within the deck above, add visual interest to the side profile.
Further enhancing the exterior's appeal are banks of grills within the superstructure of the upper deck and bridge deck, strategically positioned to break the expanse of white and follow the dynamic lines of the yacht. This design element effectively complements the forward-leaning angle of the superstructure, harmonizing with the glazing features.
With six decks spanning its profile, Horizons III offers a balanced distribution of deck space, providing ample outdoor areas for relaxation and entertainment. The sun deck stands out as a highlight, featuring an array of sun pads and loungers, complemented by a well-appointed bar area ideal for social gatherings. Fixed shade for the canopy supporting the vertical navigation and communication tower adds functionality to the space.
Meanwhile, the upper deck revolves around a spacious pool with a swim-up bar and a captivating waterfall feature. An extensive aft deck, laid in teak, offers ample sun pads and loungers, catering to guest preferences.
By the waterside, the transom of Horizons III features two teak staircases nestled within its structure, providing convenient access to and from the water. Positioned centrally is a large transom door, offering easy entry and exit for water activities and tender operations.
Interior Design
The interior design of the yacht is both intricate and opulent, entrusted to Greenline of Dubai to fulfill the owner's vision. At the heart of the yacht's accessibility lies the formal greeting lobby, characterized by a spectacular Sahara Gold marble floor and a glass elevator. Dominating the space is an imposing staircase, adorned with a cast iron banister highlighted in gold leaf, adding a touch of elegance. Additionally, a trompe l’oeil mural and marquetry further enhance the lobby's ambiance, creating a truly impressive entry point for guests.
A luxurious circular dining area awaits aboard the yacht, boasting an opulent ambiance perfect for entertaining ten guests. An antique chandelier, nestled within a partially mirrored ceiling with paneled circular inlay, illuminates the space. Surrounding a highly lacquered table are 19th-century French antique chairs, creating an elegant and timeless setting. Luxurious swag and tail curtains adorn the full-height windows, enhancing the atmosphere with sophistication.
For larger gatherings, a formal dining room accommodating the full guest complement of 12 is housed within an elegant stateroom. Intricate walnut wood paneling adorns the walls, complemented by a richly embroidered cream carpet featuring a gold design. The room's ambiance is further elevated by a partially mirrored ceiling and two French Empire-style crystal chandeliers, completing the space with a touch of grandeur.
Continuing the theme of 1860s-era French antique-inspired furniture, a signature piece games table accompanied by four sumptuous armchairs graces the interior. Adjacent to this, a dark wood ornate bar takes center stage, exuding elegance with its elaborate bar stools adorned with bronze ormolu figural foliate mounts and cut-out insignia. The meticulous attention to detail showcased in these furnishings continues to add refinement to the yacht's interior ambiance.
In an adjoining salon, French wing Bergere armchairs upholstered in striped gold and cream, complemented by walnut surrounds, are paired with deep cream sofas positioned alongside a grand piano. The seating ensemble is set upon intricately patterned silk carpets, adding to the room's luxurious atmosphere. Soft illumination emanates from hand-blown glass antique lamps adorned with metal foliage galleries and ivory shades, delicately casting a glow upon the classical artwork strategically placed as features throughout the salon.
Horizons III boasts ample guest seating areas throughout, ranging from secluded corners to expansive salons, each strategically placed close to elegant bar areas or within easy listening distance of the grand piano. The yacht's interior is a sight to behold, characterized by extravagance and luxury, offering guests a truly indulgent retreat experience.

Horizons III provides accommodation for up to 12 guests with seven well-appointed cabins.
The focal point of the yacht's accommodations is the impressive split-level master suite. This suite boasts an observation lounge providing a 180-degree view of the surrounding vistas. In addition to the master suite, Horizons III includes six other cabins, each designed with guest comfort in mind, offering ample storage and en suite facilities.
