The Paris Court of Appeal decision expected today on legal proceedings around the right to organise the Cannes Yachting Festival has been postponed until 1 July.
In 2016 the Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) started legal proceedings in an attempt to cancel a contractual undertaking made by the FIN with Reed Expositions France (REF) in 2011. The contractual undertaking guaranteed REF the right to organise the Cannes Yachting Festival until 2041.
Preparations for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 continue, with the show scheduled to take place from 7 to 12 September. Already almost 430 exhibitors have registered and nearly 600 boats, including more than 140 previews, have been announced.
Launched in 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe’s leading in-water boating event, spread across two beautiful marinas and offering over 400 linear metres of quayside for monohulls and 450 meters of multihulls.
