The second yacht of Maiora's 35 Exuma series, PESA II, wowed the judging panel in Venice and sailed away with major awards from the prestigious World Superyacht Awards.
The interiors of PESA II are inspired by nature, featuring organic design elements, natural materials, earthy colors, and minimalistic décor. This warm and inviting atmosphere won the Best Interiors award at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2024. The yacht's interior design includes sound-absorbing panels and resonators that dampen high-pitched sounds and humming, providing a quiet and comfortable environment.
The Maiora 35 Exuma's exterior design is equally impressive. A standout feature is the sky lounge, which can be transformed into a flying bridge on demand. This 47sq/m (506sq/ft) lounge features sliding glass doors, a sunroof, and lowering side windows, extending the indoor-outdoor space to nearly 130sq/m (1,400sq/ft).
The upper deck can be converted from a closed to an open space with just a few commands, thanks to its sliding door and large side windows with electric up and down movements.
The yacht includes curved "palazzo steps" across the transom, a conventional cockpit with a sun pad and booth-sofa island, and stairs to the deck above.
The main deck features a sizable salon with a single, well-protected side deck to port and a full-beam owner's stateroom forward. Additional features include side doors accessing wing stations and a foredeck terrace, along with a sliding sunroof, drop-down side glazing, and aft-deck doors.
The smaller wheelhouse on the main deck has doors on each side accessing the working foredeck, and a dogleg staircase to port connects to the crew area below decks, which includes a galley, mess, and multiple cabins for the captain and crew.
For buyers in the yacht sales market for a luxury yacht, the Maiora 35 Exuma offers a combination of performance, design, and comfort. This 35m (115ft) yacht boasts a 300-gross-ton volume, comparable to much larger yachts.
Performance-wise, the Maiora 35 Exuma achieves a top speed of nearly 33 knots, PESA II has a slightly lower top speed due to the owner's request for additional power within the battery bank to ensure peaceful overnights at anchor in 'hotel mode'.
