The award winning 228' motor yacht Firebird was delivered to her owners in 2007 by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Michael Leach, while De Voogt is responsible for her naval architecture.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium / grp superstructure she features a 43' beam and a 11'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,549 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.
Construction started in late 2004 with the keel laid under the project name 'Anna'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Firebird features a raked bow, presenting a sleek and modern profile. The yacht's color scheme is straightforward and effective. The hull and superstructure are finished in a clean white, providing a timeless and elegant appearance. The boot top and antifoul areas are painted in black, creating a sharp contrast that highlights the vessel's lines and contours. This combination of materials and colors results in a yacht that is both functional and visually appealing.
The exterior design of Firebird prioritizes functionality and socializing spaces. The spacious sun deck features a large Jacuzzi tub surrounded by sofas and sunbathing areas. This deck is designed for relaxation and offers ample space for guests to enjoy the sun and sea views.
The aft decks are equipped with al fresco dining areas and lounging spaces. These areas are intended for both casual and formal gatherings, providing various seating options to accommodate different social activities.
Firebird’s design includes large windows that offer expansive views of the surroundings, enhancing the connection between the interior and exterior spaces. The fold-down balcony adjacent to the main saloon further integrates the indoor and outdoor experiences, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze and views directly from the comfort of the saloon.
Interior Design
Firebird's interior design features a blend of contemporary and modern styles, utilizing high-quality materials and thoughtful layouts. The main saloon offers a chic, cosmopolitan art-gallery ambiance with contemporary furniture in modern colors and shapes. A large U-shaped olive-toned sofa is complemented by two comfortable armchairs and a carefully crafted coffee table. The space is enhanced by a contemporary curved carpet that contrasts with the light wood flooring. A large angular dining table, complete with vibrant green chairs, provides seating for up to 10 guests. Modern overhead lighting fixtures in gold and white tones complete the area.
Adjacent to the main saloon is a smaller lounging area that features a striking orange-colored sofa. This space is defined by dark wooden paneling and a white lacquered ceiling, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The area includes a uniquely-crafted study desk, suspended bronze lamps, classic art wall hangings, and an intricately designed feather-like carpet.
One deck above, the sky lounge continues the modern and contemporary theme. The space includes azure and mustard-colored curved sofas around a white coffee table, accompanied by two dark blue leather armchairs. An elegant marble bar with plush bordeaux and golden stools adds to the lounge's appeal. The sky lounge also features a games table for two and a piano.
Firebird's interior amenities include a dedicated spa center, where guests can enjoy massages, facials, and a hammam. The fully-equipped gymnasium provides all necessary facilities for an energizing workout.
Accommodation
Firebird offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven suites. The owner’s suite is a highlight of Firebird's accommodation, spreading over two levels. The suite boasts a large king-sized bed situated under a skylight, allowing natural light to fill the space. Elegant stairs lead up to a study area, which offers panoramic views through large windows. This layout ensures a private and serene space for the owner to relax and work.
The VIP suite is located on the main deck and features a large ensuite bathroom equipped with a bathtub, providing an additional layer of luxury and comfort.
Additional guest accommodation is located on the lower deck, where all suites have their own ensuite bathroom facilities. Each of these bathrooms is outfitted with deluxe amenities and quality beauty products.
She is also capable of carrying up to 18 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516 BDI-TA) 2,682hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Firebird is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 44,117 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,100 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht and an inviting spread of sunpads.
