Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 45'3" beam and a 12'10" draft. The yacht is built over 4 decks with an internal volume of 3,000 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

Launched in July 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in November 2018.

Exterior Design

Lonian makes a bold visual statement with its masculine aesthetic while maintaining a sleek and refined profile. The striking blue hull is at the core of Lonian's distinctive appearance.

Stainless steel plays a prominent role in Lonian's design, featuring V-cut elements on both the port and starboard sides and a commanding bow. Extensive use of glass, especially in the wide-body section and full-beam main deck, enhances the yacht's external appeal.

Lonian incorporates 22 openings into its design, fostering a close connection with the water and aligning with the owner's preference for anchorage over marina berthing. This design allows for easy storage and deployment of tenders and water toys. Soft curves of the deck structures provide shade to the levels below while floor-to-ceiling glass floods the interior with natural light.

Extensive teak decks set the stage for a jacuzzi and seating, and the upper deck features a helipad. The main deck boasts a large pool with dark blue lining and contrasting pale blue blocks in a teak surround. Four-poster canopy beds offer shaded relaxation. This guest area leads to the transom and beach club with side-opening balconies for added flexibility. The owner's deck features a private exterior salon with a jacuzzi directly accessible from the private suite.

Lonian's design balances aesthetics, functionality, and the owner's preferences, creating a distinctive and appealing yacht.

Lonian stands out for its strong visual identity and practical design solutions that cater to both aesthetic preferences and operational requirements.

Interior Design

Throughout Lonian, a consistent theme of neutral tones is complemented by the textures and patterns of the materials used.  This space is designed to be both inviting and functional, offering guests a place to gather and relax while enjoying uninterrupted sea views.

The glass elevator services all five decks. In the bridge deck gym, the option to exercise in a climate-controlled environment or out in the open air is made possible through connecting doors.

Accommodation

Lonian comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests in seven well-appointed cabins.

The owner's deck features a spacious skylight that enhances the natural light throughout the cabin, to highlight the thoughtfully designed elements. The owner's suite provides a sizable private space for a personal retreat.

Guest accommodations are equally impressive. Two VIP staterooms have balconies offering guests a connection to the ocean view. Additionally, four more staterooms are available to host the remaining eight guests.

A dedicated team of 27 crew members ensures efficient operations on the yacht; the crew accommodations and service areas are located on the lower deck.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel-electric MTU (16V 4000 M73) 3,433hp engines, motor yacht Lonian is capable of reaching a top speed of 18 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
