Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.4m beam and a 3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 438 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Loretta is marked by its raked bow, which contributes to both its aesthetic appeal and nautical performance. The deck is constructed from teak, a material known for its durability and resistance to harsh maritime conditions. Both the hull and superstructure are finished in white, presenting a cohesive and clean look that is standard in luxury yachting. The color scheme is further complemented by a black boot top, which adds a subtle contrast to the predominantly white exterior. Below the waterline, the yacht is also painted black, ensuring a uniform appearance.

The sun deck features built-in seating and a large spa pool situated at the forward section. A full wet bar is available, along with two large parasols positioned aft. Additionally, the deck includes a small crane designed for launching and retrieving two large Jet Skis.

The yacht is also equipped with a large swim platform, which allows for the easy carriage of two large tenders. This practical layout ensures that all necessary amenities are readily accessible for a comfortable and enjoyable experience on the water.

Interior Design

Loretta's interior design  focuses on creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The use of muted pastel colors runs throughout the public rooms and lounges. Carpets are predominantly beige, while furnishings feature soft russets and greys with occasional splashes of yellow. Interior woodwork is a combination of light bleached oak and dark burled oak, finished in matte and high-gloss textures, respectively.

The main saloon, located at the aft end of the main deck, serves multiple functions as a dining room, bar, and entertainment area. It features an eight-seater dining table and a bar, both with white lacquer finishes and fossils set into the surfaces. Wall panels and cupboard fronts are finished in off-white lacquer with broad-fluted surfaces. The saloon's design is complemented by high-gloss, bright-lacquered Chinese-style chests and a painted collage of sea shells flanked by chrome-plated pillars.

Forward and to starboard of the main saloon, the entrance lobby introduces visitors to Loretta. This area is floored with contrasting black Portoro and Serpegiante marble, leading to various key sections of the yacht. The upper-deck saloon, situated at the head of a staircase adorned with strips of antique mirror, is a bright day room. It features custom-designed furniture, comfortable settees, and wide shoji-like screen doors that open to the aft deck. The room also includes electrically operated windows shaded by gold and white concertina blinds, making it an airy space.

The galley is designed for functionality, equipped to meet the needs of the crew and guests. It is conveniently connected to the upper-deck saloon by a dumbwaiter and pantry, ensuring efficient meal service. For seamless crew operations, a stairway descends from the radio room to the galley corridor on the main deck.

Accommodation

Loretta offers accommodation for up to 12 guest in six cabins. The owner's suite is situated on the main deck and features a master stateroom that spans the full width of the yacht. The suite includes a child's room, which is brightly decorated with hand-painted murals of tropical scenes, connected to a small study that doubles as the entrance foyer.

The master bedroom is adorned with a color scheme of gold, beige, and gentle green, and features a long curved settee with soft suede-finish covers. The adjoining bathroom is equipped with a separate shower, spa-bath with a waterfall inlet, twin gold-plated wash basins, and dark Portoro marble.

Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck and can be accessed via a centrally placed spiral staircase at the aft end of the saloon. Each cabin is designed with an oriental touch, featuring shoji-style translucent sliding screens. The two double cabins include full bathrooms and hand-painted canvases depicting ancient Japanese seascapes above the bed. The twin staterooms have shower rooms instead of full baths, and all guest bathrooms use unique granites such as crema delicata and verde patricia for their washbasin counters.

She is also capable of carrying up to 10 crew. The crew quarters are thoughtfully designed to ensure efficient operation and include a mess room, laundry, freezer room, four double cabins, and one single cabin designated for the nanny.
