Delivered in 2008, Majestic is a 61.2m motor yacht built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while Jim Harris is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 10.9m beam and a 3.3m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 1,052 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 2004. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

The Majestic has a classic, reversed rake stem and gleaming varnished teak cap rails, that exude a sense of traditional craftsmanship and luxury, while the contemporary allure is maintained by the imposing two-deck alloy superstructure. Her lofty 2.2-metre main deck freeboard amidships not only adds to her commanding presence but also hints at the expansive volume within her robust steel hull.

The yacht's striking profile is complemented by the meticulous attention to detail that Feadship is renowned for. The exterior spaces on Majestic are designed with versatility and guest experience in mind, offering multiple areas for relaxation, dining, and entertainment, all while seamlessly integrating with the natural environment. The sun deck, elevated at 7.9 meters above the waterline, is a prime example of this design philosophy. It features an array of amenities, including a central gym and day head, surrounded by teak decking that leads to lavish sunbeds for guests to bask in the sun's warmth.

Forward of the gym, guests can unwind at the bar, protected from the elements by fixed awnings and tempered glass surrounds, ensuring an enjoyable experience regardless of the yacht's cruising speed. A few steps up, the spa pool beckons, flanked by sunpads that offer unparalleled views, further enhancing the allure of the yacht's outdoor offerings.

The adaptability and privacy of Majestic's deck spaces are crucial to her success as a sought-after charter yacht. Whether guests prefer dining on the main aft deck for a more intimate setting or on the bridge deck for a touch of grandeur, Majestic accommodates with ease. For those seeking seclusion, the foredeck seating area presents a serene retreat just in front of the bridge.

Majestic's inventory of water toys, housed within the stern garage, is both impressive and easily accessible, thanks to the articulated transom platform. The garage itself is a testament to the yacht's thoughtful design, featuring a wetsuit drying area and an open-air shower, among other conveniences, to cater to every guest's aquatic adventure.

Majestic is a canvas upon which timeless elegance and modern luxury are artfully blended to create an environment that is as functional as it is breathtaking.

Interior Design

The main saloon, enclosed almost entirely by expansive glass walls, welcomes guests with an abundance of natural light. The space is marked by striking contrasts: a polished granite bar counterbalances vibrant scarlet chairs, creating a social nexus that naturally transitions into the main dining area. Here, a versatile ebonized walnut table can accommodate up to 14 guests or be resized for more intimate gatherings. Overhead, the soft illumination from a petite chandelier complements the fabric-covered walls and enhances the hypnotic allure of a dynamic Alex Katz painting.

Majestic's design philosophy is evident in its deliberate omission of clichéd nautical decor. Instead, the yacht's interior is characterized by a clean, understated elegance that allows charter guests to fully immerse in the luxury of their surroundings without the interference of personal artifacts.

The wheelhouse stands apart with its more professional tone, featuring deep-toned walnut and myrtle burl panels, complemented by leather trim. In contrast, the sky lounge and media room cater to leisure with a lighter color scheme, balanced by dark ebonized walnut paneling, transforming into an impressive home cinema at the touch of a button.

Accommodation

The Majestic offers sumptuous accommodation for 12 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized experience on the water. The yacht's layout includes a total of six well-appointed cabins, each designed to provide a serene and inviting atmosphere.

The owner’s suite is a full-beam sanctuary that features an impressive 70 square meters of space. This suite boasts a walk-around king-sized bed, a vast walk-in cupboard and dressing room, and twin marble-lined en suites, each with its own distinctive amenities—one with a shower and the other offering both a bath and a shower. The suite is adorned with classical French and art deco-style furniture, and a distinctive mother-of-pearl panel at the head of the bed enhances the room’s ambiance with its perpetual interplay of light and colour.

Adjacent to the dining room on the main deck is a VIP cabin with remarkable views through its glass walls, a walk-round king-sized bed, and a limestone-lined shower room, providing guests with a level of comfort and luxury that rivals the owner’s suite.

On the lower deck, guests are treated to four double cabins and a second VIP cabin, each accessible from a central hallway that exudes spaciousness and elegance. The four double cabins, while sharing a basic layout, are individually themed with distinct colors—brown, green, gold, and black—manifested in the bed linen, artwork, and decorative fabrics. This customization extends to the bed configurations, with two of the cabins offering the versatility to split the beds into singles, ideal for guests travelling with children.

The second VIP cabin on the lower deck features a double bed with a headboard accented by glass beads and a unique walkthrough wardrobe leading to the shower room. The guest areas are unified by the 'pickled oak' effect of the walnut wood panelling, achieved through multiple layers of expert painting.

Understanding the importance of a skilled and content crew in delivering an impeccable guest experience, the Majestic also includes thoughtfully designed quarters for up to 15 crew.
