Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 450 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the first yacht built on the Flexplorer 146/4 design. Launched in November 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Cantiere delle Marche's Cantiere delle Marche yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in February 2024.
Exterior Design
Maverick features a light grey hull and superstructure with a black boot stripe, double pinstripes above, and additional black detailing, presenting a sleek and modern aesthetic. With a reinforced hull featuring a 22mm ice-belt above and below the waterline, Maverick is built for durability and safety.
A notable feature of Maverick is the custom-built A-frame crane with a lifting capacity of 4,000 kg engineered by Advanced Mechanical Solutions (AMS) in carbon fibre. This crane, which integrates smoothly with the deck when not in use, is positioned at the edge of the expansive cockpit. Its strategic placement facilitates the launching of tenders.
The yacht's design thoughtfully incorporates collapsible bulwarks that extend to the ends of the cockpit. These bulwarks can be folded down, and with deck fittings positioned on the lower level on the swim platform, the aft deck transforms into a spacious beach area covering over 135 square meters.
For tender storage and launching, Maverick comes equipped with a 9.5-meter custom tender by Rivellini, alongside an A27 sailing boat, both of which are efficiently managed by the powerful A-frame crane.
An infinity pool is integrated into the transom, offering a large swimming area that can be converted into storage for deck furniture while cruising.
On the upper deck, the forward section is reserved for a rescue boat and jet skis, doubling as an additional outdoor lounging area furnished with sofas and sunbeds when at anchor.
Interior Design
The main salon and dining area feature a combination of natural woods and soft textiles, complemented by durable, elegant flooring that withstands the demands of extended periods at sea. Natural light is maximized through the strategic use of large windows, particularly in the main salon, ensuring that the interior benefits from an abundance of daylight and panoramic views of the surroundings.
The main salon and dining area adopt an asymmetrical layout similar to the Flexplorer 130 Aurelia. This design choice allows for a full beam configuration to the starboard side, enlarging the salon and providing a practical passageway for easy service access from the galley to the exterior.
The galley itself is positioned on the port side, connecting openly with the main salon. It boasts a central island that serves as a focal point for informal gatherings, meals, or shared food preparation.
Other features include a large gym, sauna, and diving center.
Accommodation
Maverick offers sophisticated accommodation for guests across its three decks, designed with comfort and privacy in mind. The yacht is equipped to host up to twelve guests within seven well-appointed cabins, ensuring a restful and private retreat for all aboard.
The lower deck houses four guest cabins, each with an ensuite bathroom, providing comfortable and secluded quarters for guests. These cabins are designed with attention to detail, ensuring a pleasant stay.
The main deck features a forward-positioned owner's stateroom, which serves as a luxurious private sanctuary. This stateroom is spacious, offering ample room for relaxation and privacy. Its position on the main deck allows for natural light and views of the surroundings, enhancing the onboard experience for the owner.
Additionally, the upper deck includes another owner's stateroom adjacent to a single guest cabin. This arrangement offers flexibility and convenience, catering to different guest configurations and preferences. The presence of a large walk-in wardrobe in place of the radio room on this deck adds to the spaciousness and functionality of the guest accommodations.
Crew accommodation is also thoughtfully provided, with three cabins designated for up to six crew members.
