Bannenberg & Rowell unveils ESTRADE concept - a yacht for changed times

The 43m motor yacht has an understated, but elegant look to reflect the changing nature of the world in recent months.

Renowned British designers Bannenberg & Rowell have released details of their new Estrade concept - a superyacht aimed firmly at relaxed and simple living, with a strong emphasis on enjoying life.

Stylish straight lines and an astute use of space give the classically designed interior a wonderful sense of freedom and immediately mark this out as a Bannenberg & Rowell concept.

Intentionally aesthetically modest, the Estrade is ‘designed for the soul’ as a place to ‘connect with the environment’.

We have designed a yacht for the sunlit uplands which we hope lie ahead. It's not excessive. It doesn't look to show off.

The pared-back, open design sets out to help guests reconnect with both the environment and the people around them, reminding them of what is important in the world.

This is reflected in the beach club, which is very much the heart of the yacht. Characterized by contemporary and comfortable furniture, two folding sections of hull continue with the theme of open space, giving ample room to relax, take things down a notch or two and enjoy life.

A mere few seconds from the beach club is an equally impressive cantilevered Sundeck, complete with juice bars, a pool and even more space to unwind and contemplate.

There is room on board for ten guests and nine crew members, with ample space for toys and tenders at the bow.

Bannenberg & Rowell are one of the leading design studios in the world, driving forward yacht innovation since the 1960s. The studio works across interior, exterior and whole yacht projects.

Amongst their groundbreaking yachts are the 70m Feadship Joy. The first superyacht to feature an exterior design by Bannenberg & Rowell, their innovative work on the yacht, which included a double entry beach club and air-conditioned winter gardens, saw it nominated for, and winning, multiple awards including a ShowBoats Design Award and a World Superyacht Award.

Also in their award-winning portfolio is the 63m Benetti Metis. The minimalist design, with fluid lines, also features an Upper Deck with interiors rotated 30-degrees to offer a range of unusual vantage points and lead to the yacht gathering a number of award wins and nominations.
