Delivered: LUMINANCE, the 139m superyacht by Lürssen

The world of luxury yachting welcomes the magnificent Lürssen superyacht LUMINANCE, After its launch in February 2023 from Lürssen's Bremen Vegesack facility in Germany, the superyacht set off from the Lemwerder facility, and the delivery was arranged for Kristiansand in Norway.

The yacht's striking design features an elongated bow and a deep blue hull that is the brainchild of Espen Øino International. Zuretti Interior Design has crafted the luxurious interiors, while Lürssen Yachts is responsible for the naval architecture.

Designed with extravagance at its core, the 145m (476ft) Lurssen-built yacht has two touch-and-go helipads, one at the bow and another on the upper deck aft. The superyacht's amenities extend to two jacuzzis and a large swimming pool. Private foredeck terraces across three decks offer guests an exclusive experience and a private retreat, while the aft decks present open views of stunning ocean vistas.

With expansive windows throughout, LUMINANCE invites natural light to illuminate its spacious interiors.

The exterior design by Espen Øino marks the 30th collaboration with Lürssen, a partnership that has produced other remarkable superyacht projects, including FLYING FOXDILBAR, and CRESCENT. The interior, designed by Francois Zuretti, remains shrouded in mystery. It is understood that LUMINANCE can accommodate a minimum of 24 guests in 12 staterooms and will be served by a crew of 40.

LUMINANCE has been constructed with a teak deck, a robust steel hull, and an aluminum superstructure; she joins the elite fleet of 70 motor yachts exceeding 100m (328ft) in length and stands out with a volume significantly above the average for her size class (9,400-ton). Leveraging high-performance MTU engines, LUMINANCE  achieves a top speed surpassing 20 knots.

Currently, LUMINENCE ranks as the eighth-largest yacht built by Lürssen.

Lürssen continues its legacy of shipbuilding excellence with current ongoing projects like the 122m (400ft) PROJECT JAG, launched on sea trials in October 2023, and the 142m (465ft)  PROJECT ALIBABA, which launched for sea trials in December 2023. Both yachts will be delivered in 2024.

Founded in 1875, Lürssen has a storied history of producing some of the world's most iconic yachts and naval ships, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation and luxury on the high seas.
