Home to the established Singapore Yacht Show, the ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove marina has spent S$7 million (about US$5.2 million) on relocating superyacht berths and improving facilities.
Adapting the marina to the change in demand, the reconfiguration still embodies the same number of berths, 272, however the number of berths for superyachts measuring 24m (80ft) upwards has more than doubled from 15 to 33.
In addition to the new layout of berths, the marina now also encompasses a new channel with a minimum depth of 4.5m that can accommodate visiting yachts up to 67m (220ft).
One of the main objectives of the reconfiguration was to cater for the projected trend of increasing yacht sizes.
