Construction started in early 1986. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Astarte II features a clipper bow design, optimizing both aesthetics and functionality. The deck is crafted from teak, providing durability and a classic maritime appearance. The hull and superstructure are uniformly painted in white, creating a clean and cohesive look. The boot top and antifoul areas are finished in black, enhancing the yacht’s sleek profile.
The stern includes a hatch for launching a variety of onboard watersports equipment. Above deck, there are three designated dining areas: an informal dining area on the boat deck, a shaded after-deck for outdoor dining, and a formal dining saloon capable of seating 20.
A helicopter landing platform adds to the vessel's utility, enabling convenient access for guests. Further amenities include a fitness room, sauna, and a boat lounge/games room with direct access to a large jacuzzi tub. The yacht is designed with large panoramic windows, offering extensive views of the surrounding waters.
Interior Design
In the main saloon, large panoramic windows allow abundant natural light, enhancing the spacious feel of the room. Furnishings include large, comfortable armchairs and settees upholstered in a gold and blue fabric. Dark wood coffee tables complement the seating arrangement. A baby grand piano is positioned to provide entertainment, while a stereo system, television, and video equipment are housed in dark wood cabinets.
The dining saloon is prepared for formal dining for up to 20 guests. The room features an oval mahogany dining table and carved-back dining chairs, with over-table lighting concealed in an oval ceiling alcove. A scenic tapestry adorns one wall, providing a focal point. An elegant Chinese screen separates the dining area from the main saloon, maintaining a sense of privacy and distinction between the two spaces.
In terms of amenities, the yacht includes a fitness room and a sauna. A boat lounge or games room offers additional space for relaxation, with doors that lead out to a large jacuzzi tub.
Accommodation
Astarte II offers spacious accommodation for up to 20 guests. The vessel features two master suites located on the main deck, each equipped with en suite bathroom facilities.
In addition to the master suites, Astarte II has three double cabins and three twin cabins on the lower deck. These cabins are similarly appointed with en suite bathrooms, ensuring that all guests enjoy a private and convenient stay. Additionally, there are two smaller twin cabins designed for children or staff, also featuring en suite facilities.
Astarte II is capable of housing a crew of 20, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and that guests receive the highest level of service.
