The 133'2" motor yacht Astera was delivered to her owners in 2024 by Italian shipyard Baglietto. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Studio Vafiadis, while Baglietto is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 28'7" beam and a 7'1" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 396 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the fifth yacht built on the DOM133 design. Launched in March 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
Astera features an aluminum hull and aluminum superstructure, combining durability with a sleek design. The vessel is painted in a classic white color above the waterline, while the area below the waterline is black. The boot top stripe adds contrast with its black hue. The yacht's plumb bow design enhances its modern aesthetic and hydrodynamic efficiency. The decks are crafted from teak, providing a premium finish and non-slip surface.
This tri-deck superyacht features a split-level beach club with an adjustable depth pool that can be closed to expand the cockpit. Twin staircases lead from the bathing platform to the lower deck lounging area, with a sofa positioned at the water level. Stylish molding in contrasting silver grey protects the staircases, which alternate throughout the deck levels. Additionally, there is a sun deck jacuzzi and plenty of al fresco entertainment space, including dining areas and fold-out terraces.
The side profile includes curvatures rising from the transom near the waterline and ending near the plumb bow. Adding character to the hull are distinctive double windows resembling sleek elongated RayBans, complemented by three slim horizontal rectangular glazed windows, adding visual interest to the lower hull. Extensive side glazing on the lower deck further enhances the yacht's modern aesthetic, while the strategic use of black carbon accents against the white hull and superstructure adds a striking contrast.
Accommodation
Astera offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 1,622hp engines, motor yacht Astera is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. She has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at an economic speed of 10 knots.
