Delivered in 2014, Cocoa Bean is a 242' motor yacht built by American shipyard Trinity Yachts. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Trinity Yachts, while Evan K Marshall is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 40'8" beam and a 13'1" draft. The yacht is built over 6 decks with an internal volume of 1,590 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Launched in November 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in September 2014.

Accommodation

Cocoa Bean offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 16 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 16-cylinder 2,682hp engines running at 1600rpm, motor yacht Cocoa Bean is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. With her 64,000 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 6,000 nautical miles at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. An elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible, while air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Cocoa Bean also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
