- Split-level sundeck with spa pool
- Retractable fiberglass sunshades
- Fold-down beach club
- Bipod-configured mast
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 30'6" beam and a 9'11" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 656 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 0199. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Hercules has a raked bow that not only adds to its visual appeal but also enhances its performance in various sea conditions. The hull is painted in a deep blue color, providing a stark contrast to the white superstructure. The deck is constructed from teak, a material known for its durability and resistance to weathering. It provides a solid and reliable surface for all activities on board. The boot top is also white, matching the superstructure and maintaining a cohesive appearance throughout the vessel. Below the waterline, Hercules is finished with a red antifoul paint, which helps to prevent marine growth on the hull, ensuring smooth and efficient sailing.
A standout feature is her elegantly designed mast, where De Voogt has opted for a bipod configuration, replacing the conventional arch shape and supporting a gracefully swept antennae platform.
Flowing lines define Hercules' exterior, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. For instance, strategically placed privacy lights on the open stairway connecting the boat deck with the sun deck enhance both functionality and aesthetics. The yacht is equipped with powered, retractable fiberglass sunshades above the boat and main decks, ensuring optimal comfort in varying weather conditions.
Distinctive bulwarks further enhance Hercules' exterior profile, designed to maximize visibility through large, tinted windows in the main saloon. These features are complemented by practical amenities such as a fold-down beach club and the iconic circular dining area on the main deck aft.
The upper deck boasts an expansive table setting, while the split-level sundeck offers a luxurious retreat with a spa pool, bar, and lounge area featuring a newly installed cinema screen.
Interior Design
In preparation for the Feadship yacht Hercules being put up for sale, its interior underwent a complete refresh, blending a modern Mediterranean charm with the original Glade Johnson design. This design originally featured Japanese and Art Deco elements, including decorative concaves in cabin ceilings, semicircular alabaster sconce lamps, shoji doors, and screens, and extensive use of silk and leather upholstery. The interior showcases a variety of woods, ranging from fiddle-back and straight-grain anigre to cherry, beech, madrona, ash briar, wenge, and sapele (ribbon-stripe African mahogany).

Hercules offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 12 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
