Delivered in 1983, Illusion I is a 55.5m motor yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while Bannenberg & Rowell is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.66m beam and a 3.17m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 591 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
Illusion I features a large aft deck equipped with a 12-seater table and a full bar, making it suitable for social gatherings and dining. On the bridge deck aft, two tables facilitate casual dining, while a discreet sunbathing area is located on the bridge deck forward. The sun deck includes additional entertainment options with sunpads, a dining area, and a Jacuzzi.
Illusion I's modern and spacious beach club aft, complemented by a large swim platform, serves as an ideal spot for water activities. A shaded area on the main deck adds to the yacht’s outdoor amenities.
Illusion I features a displacement hull configuration with a clipper bow, providing stability and smooth navigation. The exterior is finished in a crisp white, with the hull and superstructure both sharing this color. The boot top is painted blue, adding a subtle contrast to the overall design. The deck is covered in teak, offering a classic look and a practical, non-slip surface.
Interior Design
The interior uses a color palette of gold, brown, and taupe, creating an inviting atmosphere. The main saloon is spacious and thoughtfully arranged, with a central bar that divides two seating areas. Further forward on the main deck, there is a private dining room that can also be configured as a meeting room. This flexibility makes it suitable for both formal dining and business discussions.
A second lounge, the sky lounge, is located on the upper deck. This area offers a more intimate and airy setting, suitable for guests seeking a quieter, more private space. Large windows allow for natural light, enhancing the sense of openness and connection with the sea.
Accommodation
Illusion I offers accommodation for up to 12 guests across six staterooms. The main deck houses a full-beam master suite, providing ample space and privacy for the principal guest. The remaining guest staterooms are situated on the lower deck, consisting of one VIP suite, two double cabins, and two twin cabins, ensuring a variety of options for different guest preferences.
For the crew, Illusion I has dedicated quarters designed to house up to 14 members. These quarters include a double cabin and six twin cabins.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (D399) 1,125hp engines, motor yacht Illusion I is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 73,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
Amenities
A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Illusion I also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
