At the time of her launch in 2019, Lady S was the largest yacht ever built by the Dutch boat-building giant Feadship. The 92.5m (303.4ft) yacht was commissioned by experienced American owners. Michael Leach was chosen to design the yacht's elegant exterior, and her interior styling is the work of Reymond Langton Design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure she features a 14.1m (46.2ft) beam and a 3.9m (12.8ft) draft. The yacht is built over six decks with an internal volume of 2,999 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a fully certified helipad.
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards and was delivered to her American owners in April 2019.
Exterior Design
Lady S captivates with a plumb bow, a design choice that not only contributes to her commanding presence but also her seakeeping abilities. The yacht's silhouette is further enhanced by the decision to position the pool on the main deck, allowing for an inviting social hub that integrates with the surrounding seascape.
Taking inspiration from the windows of the Feadship Savannah, Lady S features generous glass paneling that bathes her interiors in natural light while offering uninterrupted views.
Michael Leach Design crafted the yacht's profile, achieving a pleasing balance between form and function. The careful division of structure between the bridge and gym from the aft helipad, coupled with a small observation deck atop the central mast and funnel, ensures that Lady S maintains elegant proportions without unnecessary overhangs.
The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the vessel's design. The tender stowage at the bow not only creates a practical storage solution but also contributes to the yacht's elongated profile, emphasizing her sleek and modern aesthetic. Further enhancing this visual effect are the side decks, which have been ingeniously sculpted to bring light into the interior spaces, transforming them into liveable areas that invite interaction and enjoyment.
Interior Design
The choice of materials speaks volumes of the yacht's caliber, with quilted maple taking center stage. This honey-colored timber was difficult to find and was carefully bleached and stained to create a light, white joinery that is as unique as it is striking. Pascale Reymond, the lead interior designer, admitted that due to its rarity and felling process, there could be no room for error. The intricate craftsmanship required to perfect its finish are testaments to the yacht's distinctiveness and the owner’s desire for a one-of-a-kind seafaring experience.
Lady S's interior innovation includes exceptional entertainment amenities, such as the yachting world's first floating IMAX cinema, providing an outstanding visual and auditory experience. The owners' lounge incorporates a discreet, illuminated CGI dance floor, a DJ station, and an RGB lighting system, enabling guests to seamlessly shift from a day of luxury to an evening of celebration.
The four-deck atrium and captivating glass-and-stainless-steel spiral staircase are the standout features, complemented by the observation deck under the mast.
Accommodation
Lady S provides for up to 14 guests, ensuring each person experiences a high level of comfort and style during their voyage. The vessel includes seven guest cabins, including a spacious owner's suite, all designed to offer a level of luxury and privacy.
The owner's suite, located on a private deck, provides a peaceful and elegant retreat. It includes twin bathrooms and dressing rooms, an office, and a massage and beauty treatment room. The suite is surrounded by panoramic windows offering a wide ocean view, providing a serene experience of the seascape. The design is a skillful combination of light, space, and comfort, with meticulous attention to detail.
On the main deck, the yacht presents four guest suites, each with the option to be converted into two VIP suites. These versatile spaces feature a sliding wall that can effortlessly transform a bedroom and sitting room into separate cabins, providing flexibility to cater to varying guest arrangements. The cabins are equipped with hidden beds, allowing them to adapt to the needs of the guests. For a personal touch, digital panels replace traditional nameplates, welcoming guests by name to their private retreats.
Alongside the main deck suites, Lady S offers VIP suites with private terraces, providing guests with their own exclusive outdoor retreat while at sea. The stylish touch is reflected in the inlaid geometric patterns of laser-cut stainless steel that embellish the doors.
The crew quarters on Lady S maintain the same high standard of luxury as the guest accommodations. Designed to accommodate up to 39 crew members, the living spaces prioritize comfort and functionality. Notable features include a full-beam gym and a dedicated chef's herb garden, emphasizing the significance placed on the well-being and efficiency of the crew.
Performance & Capabilities
Lady S is powered by twin Caterpillar 3516C engines, which provide a blend of power and efficiency. These robust powerhouses enable Lady S to reach a maximum speed of 18 knots, with a cruising speed set comfortably at 14 knots. The cruising speed reflects a prioritization of both comfort and range, allowing for extended voyages without frequent refueling, appealing to those with a desire for long, unhurried journeys.
At a speed of 12 knots, she offers an extensive range of 6,500 nautical miles, which is facilitated by her substantial fuel capacity of 245,790 liters. This considerable fuel capacity ensures that Lady S can undertake significant voyages, offering the freedom to explore remote destinations without the constraints of short-range limitations.
To complement her engine performance and range, Lady S is equipped with three MTU 12V 2000 M51A generators. These generators are key to maintaining the yacht's self-sufficiency, providing ample power for all onboard systems and amenities, and ensuring that the comfort of those onboard is undisturbed, regardless of how far from shore their adventures may take them.
Lady S’s build quality and engineering excellence are further exemplified by her stabilizing systems, where she has been outfitted with state-of-the-art stabilization technology. Advanced stabilizers minimize the roll of the yacht in various sea conditions and enhance onboard comfort, whether at anchor or while cruising.
The yacht's technical benefits extend to her freshwater capacity, which stands at 61,820 liters, supporting prolonged autonomy at sea.
Leisure & Entertainment
Lady S is equipped with a two-deck IMAX theatre, a spa, and a 9m (29.5ft) swimming pool surrounded by textured aqua tiles handmade in Wales. The light that filters through the glass bottom of the swimming pool above lights a hammam spa that faces a plunge pool and a lounging area. For sporting activities, a full-beam bridge deck gym, and various facilities for golf, basketball, volleyball, and football are provided on the teak-laid foredeck.
The amidships IMAX cinema marks the first installation of its kind on a superyacht, featuring seven seats in two rows and a large sofa on the front row accommodating five guests. The expansive 6m x 3m curved screen can showcase cinema-grade 4K digital cinema packages, the same files used in commercial theaters. To accommodate this sizable screen, the builders had to excavate into the tank deck. The cinema is equipped with twin Barco 4K projectors, eight subwoofers, and 22 regular speakers to deliver Dolby Atmos sound. The insulation is of exceptional quality.
Lady S also features an outdoor cinema solution, a 201-inch folding LCD television on the aft deck. For guest use in cooler climes, there are sitting areas with fire pits on two levels of the yacht.
Wellness
The beach club on Lady S features an expansive bathing platform and three distinct areas, the club includes a wet bar, games table, and television in a lounge setting, a spacious hammam, and a massage room with backlit sliding marble walls, creating a serene retreat for guests.
