Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement with a bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, the yacht features a 14.5m (47.5ft) beam and a 4.15m (13.6ft) draft. The yacht is built over four decks with an internal volume of 3,056 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2002, and launched in December 2003, the yacht undertook sea trials over the following months, to be delivered to her owners in January 2005.

Exterior Design

The sundeck is exclusively designated for sun worshippers, featuring a drop-off helicopter pad that transforms into a raised sunbathing area adorned with reclining chairs. The sundeck also boasts two bar areas, one equipped with barbecuing facilities, and a spa pool where guests can cool off before relaxing on the surrounding sunpads. It's a perfect space for enjoying the sun and the outdoor amenities.

Interior Design

The color scheme onboard is a tranquil fusion of hues carefully selected from nature's palette, reminiscent of the colors found in Cyprus - wheat, golden maize, olive, and deep clay reds. These tones are artfully complemented by gentle, cream-colored handmade carpets and sofas, creating a harmonious atmosphere. This palette harmonizes seamlessly with the sea views offered through expansive windows.

Diverse seating areas provide each guest with the option to select a personal space that offers the greatest psychological comfort. The rooms, designed to be spacious, allow for grand entertaining or comfortable accommodation for the entire entourage.

The yacht features a spectacular lobby, with enormous slabs of book-matched blue Brazilian Makauba marble.

Accommodation

Moonlight II offers accommodation for up to 36 guests in 18 suites comprising an owner's cabin, one VIP cabin, eight double cabins and eight twin cabins.

The guest staterooms feature a two-room VIP suite and an expansive 1,313-square-foot master suite. The master suite is equipped with an integrated cabin for staff or children, a private deck, a personal office, and a lavish bath appearing to be carved from solid Afion marble.

Each of the regular guest suites is individually decorated in rich colored silks, satins, velvets, Alcantara, and cotton, set against a background of brushed limed oak, and provides a comfortable and well-appointed space featuring a sofa, a desk, and a spacious bath equipped with both a tub and a shower, and enveloped in luxurious Michelangelo marble.

She is also capable of carrying up to 36 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3606) 6-cylinder 2,760hp engines running at 1000rpm, motor yacht Moonlight II is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 14 knots. With her 257,649 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 14 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Leisure & Entertainment

The cinema is located on the upper deck, where guests can indulge in movies while ensconced in individually reclining seats. The yacht features two expansive saloons. The main deck saloon, being the largest, exudes a more formal ambiance. Upon entering from the aft deck through an ante-room furnished with a sofa, coffee table, and games table, guests find a pleasant space to relax with a book. A swathe of off-white custom-made carpet guides guests into the symmetrical saloon itself, complete with a bar and a grand piano.

The lighting can be adjusted at the press of a button, allowing guests to set the mood according to their preferences. This space is perfect for enjoying cocktails before stepping into the adjoining formal dining room, where candelabras adorn two immense oval tables, creating an enchanting setting for candlelit dinners.

Wellness

Moonlight II was designed as an exclusive charter vessel and features the same style of health and beauty spa as her younger sistership Annaliesse, now Queen Miri, where the lower deck is dedicated to health, wellness, and business.

The magnificent spa area is completely bedecked in exotic marble, among them, Azul Paraiso from Brazil and Arabescato and Michaelangelo from Italy. The Egyptian Silivia Oro marble used in wet areas has a magnificent natural golden hue. Surrounding the jacuzzi are teak deck chairs, made comfortable with inviting cushions, towels, and pillows. The air is infused with a soothing aroma, providing aromatherapy for relaxation. Radiating from the central Roman bath are separate saunas and steam rooms, a refreshing cold plunge pool, and locker rooms equipped with showers. The health and beauty center also features treatment rooms for massage and skin care, a hair and nail salon, a well-equipped gymnasium, and an enchanting children's playroom.

The health and beauty center onboard features two exclusive treatment services. The Caracalla bath offers a thalassotherapy experience with massaging jets and light therapy, while the heated Cleopatra bath provides a cocooning tub for guests to relax in near weightlessness, especially during seaweed wraps.
