The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), a division of Greece's National Fund, has formalized a partnership with LAMDA Corfu Marina to construct a premier superyacht marina at the Port of Corfu (above).
This exciting venture involves a sub-concession agreement with LAMDA Corfu Marina, a branch of LAMDA Marinas Investments, granting them the rights to construct, operate, manage, and maintain a new year-round facility featuring 410 berths for yachts up to 140m (459ft) long. The project, estimated to exceed €89 million over 40 years, will allocate over €50 million specifically for the marina's construction.
Christos Stylianides, Greece's Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, emphasized the partnership's goal of enhancing Greece's stature as a global maritime and tourism hub by advancing national maritime infrastructure.
The Corfu superyacht marina will deliver high-quality services, positioning itself as a competitive draw for yachts across the Ionian region, significantly boosting employment and the local economy of Corfu."

This initiative is part of HRADF's broader strategy to both revamp existing marinas and launch new projects aimed at boosting maritime tourism. This strategy includes the recently reopened Astir Marina in Vouliagmeni and upcoming refurbishments for the Alimos and Ellinikon marinas.
With the signing of the agreement with Lamda Development, we are decisively advancing the role of marinas as key drivers of regional growth. HRADF is dedicated to supporting the investor in bringing this project to fruition, and we are optimistic that Corfu and the Ionian Sea will soon host one of the country's most modern marinas."
