Design & Construction

Constructed with a displacement steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, this yacht boasts a 15.5m (50.85ft) beam and a 4.2m (13.78ft) draft. The internal volume of the yacht measures 3,900 Gross Tonnes (GT). Additionally, the design includes a helipad.

The construction commenced in early 2017, and the yacht was launched in February 2020, undergoing sea trials in the subsequent months, before delivery to her owners in July 2020.

The yacht won the award for Best Displacement Motor Yacht of 3,000GT and above (approximately 85m+) at the World Superyacht Awards 2021.

Moonrise is recognized for its advanced quiet operation, featuring propeller and hull appendages specifically designed to minimize sound levels underwater. This design element contributes to maintaining a quiet interior environment.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Moonrise stands out for its strong, masculine character complemented by clean lines and a wealth of detailed work. The yacht's deck areas are comprehensively equipped, featuring a helicopter landing area on the foredeck that enhances both functionality and future resale value. This foresighted inclusion proved its worth when travel restrictions necessitated the owner's initial arrival by helicopter.

Moonrise boasts a distinctive grey hull, long hull windows, and a striking vertical bow that contribute to the yacht's visual appeal. The superstructure is fully clad in glass, merging aesthetics with panoramic views. A helipad is strategically positioned on the foredeck, while the aft section hosts a large beach club, complete with a gym and areas dedicated to wellness.

The vessel's outdoor spaces are designed with high ceilings and flush decks, promoting a sense of spaciousness and facilitating a natural flow into the interior spaces.

Moonrise is characterized by its modern aesthetic, high-quality materials, and thoughtful integration of amenities designed to create a comfortable and sophisticated experience for those on board.

Interior Design

The materials chosen for the interior spaces reflect sophistication and durability, with an emphasis on clean lines and tasteful minimalism.

Amenities within 'Moonrise' cater to both entertainment and relaxation. The yacht is equipped with the latest audio-visual systems, allowing guests to enjoy cinema-quality entertainment. The onboard wellness areas are designed to provide a serene environment for relaxation, featuring the latest in spa technology.

The craftsmanship within 'Moonrise' reflects the Feadship tradition of precision engineering and design excellence. The interior layout has been arranged to optimize space and ensure fluid movement between areas. Noise and vibration levels within the yacht are kept to a minimum, thanks to advanced engineering solutions, contributing to the overall sense of tranquility onboard.

Accommodation

In addition to the 16-guest accommodation throughout eight cabins, Moonrise offers generous quarters for a crew of 32. The service cabins are designed with ample natural light, prioritizing a premium standard for the crew.

Performance & Capabilities

Moonrise is powered by her twin MTU engines allowing the yacht to achieve a top speed of 19 knots. For voyages that prioritize efficiency and comfort, Moonrise cruises at 16 knots. These engines are not only robust but also incorporate exhaust gas treatment systems to mitigate environmental impact, aligning with modern environmental standards and reflecting a commitment to responsible operation.

Stability is a crucial aspect of any vessel's performance, and Moonrise is equipped with Quantum stabilizers. These systems are instrumental in ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for guests and crew, regardless of sea conditions. The stabilizers play a vital role in maintaining equilibrium, both while the yacht is underway and at rest.

Moonrise incorporates a heat recovery system on its generators, which serves a dual purpose: it enhances the efficiency of electrical power usage while simultaneously providing the benefit of warming the yacht's jacuzzi.

The yacht's dynamic positioning system, which has received ECO certification, further exemplifies the vessel's commitment to energy efficiency. This system allows for optimal generator usage, reducing unnecessary energy expenditure while maintaining the yacht's position.

Amenities

A gym with all the latest equipment allows her guests to keep their workout routines while at sea. Waterfront living can be enjoyed to the fullest, thanks to a large beach club and connecting swim platform with plenty of space for sitting back and admiring the sea views. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. The sundeck is the social hub of the yacht, with a deck jacuzzi for cooling off and an inviting spread of sunpads.
