O'Ptasia Yacht

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 13.8m beam and a 3.6m draft. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 2,342 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a touch and go heli-pad.

Launched in April 2018 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2018.

Exterior Design

Interior Design

Embodying a harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics with Art Deco touches, the interior of O'Ptasia is a collaborative vision of her owner and Italian designer Giorgio Vafiadis. The result is an environment that celebrates a tranquil, yet sophisticated luxury, designed to provide a serene escape for guests aboard this magnificent vessel.

The masterful use of dark woods throughout O'Ptasia's interior is balanced with a light color palette, creating an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting. This juxtaposition of tones is exemplified in the main saloon, where ebony cabinetry inlaid with stainless steel details provides a striking contrast to the white leather sofas and the backlit, honey-toned onyx of the dining table. Additionally, the upper deck hosts two double cabins and a twin cabin, while four more double cabins (two of which can convert to twins) and one twin cabin can be found on the main deck.

Eucalyptus walls and gray joinery harmonize to offer a serene ambiance, while walk-in wardrobes provide generous storage space. O'Ptasia's design also considers the comfort and efficiency of the crew, vital to ensuring seamless service and a pleasant guest experience. The yacht features dedicated crew quarters, allowing for a professional crew of 30 to reside comfortably and be readily available to attend to guests' needs. The careful arrangement of crew passages and service areas ensures discrete and unobtrusive movement, reinforcing the sense of privacy for guests.

O'Ptasia's impressive performance capabilities are attributable to her twin 3,386hp Caterpillar diesel engines. These powerful engines propel O'Ptasia to a commanding top speed of 20 knots, allowing her to cut through the waves with grace and agility.

For voyages that prioritize efficiency and comfort, O'Ptasia cruises with a steadfast speed of 16 knots. Her robust construction and advanced engineering grant her a remarkable maximum range of 10,015 nautical miles at 12 knots, allowing for extensive ocean crossings and explorations into the most remote of seas, without the need for frequent refueling stops.
